I HATE this comment damnit! It just shows how blind you are to how much work I put into my comment! Yeah, the last few battles get a bit more difficult. I'm actually on my 2nd run through now with my medium sized ship. I'm at the first battle with Spoiler Micari at Earth after he tells you his plot , and I'm getting my rear handed to me - attacks come so frequently and with the ship being nearly twice the size, it becomes very difficult to kill all of the invaders and keep the tokens refilling.
This game was delayed for years, and you're anxious over a month w/o a major update like that? That mode is probably not even coming to iOS.
its not a shame, its insanity. my only explanation is TA were given a nice little back hander for the review. The game promised lots and delivered nothing, it is a turd and a review like that is quite obviously something rather fishy.
You shouldn't talk before reading the 92 pages of this thread along with all the info in the web regarding this game. You are arguing between "promised" vs "received", but are not considering if what we have is good or not. I like the game and I like it a lot. I find 4.5 stars a good review. The only "but" is that the game is a bit short, but it's very good IMO. Of course, a sandbox galaxy would be much better, but the 4.5 star review talks about what there is, not about what happened with the kickstarter, right?
You can get news updates from their official Facebook page and Twitter page. They seem to be busy porting it to Android devices since these passed couple of months. They claimed that away teams will be introduced to mobile versions once the PC release is out. https://www.facebook.com/StarCommandGame?ref=br_tf https://twitter.com/StarCommandGame
Well I bought this game after reading TA's review, and I'm deeply disappointed. The game itself is good, but it quickly gets repetitive and it's too short.
They were talking about an update in August and still nothing. This is by far the most disappointing kickstart I've given money to. Pathetic.
According to a post on their facebook page they submitted an Update on Oct 12th Just gotta wait for Apple to approve it now.
AFAIK, FTL is coming to tablets, but there's no word on an iOS version. I'll stand corrected though...
