Can anyone confirm that this is out in NZ? Sorcery! is already on the Lebanese App Store, and there's no sign of this yet. With people saying it's not on the NZ store...damnit, if this isn't coming out...dfshvjksdfhjv EDIT: Working link... https://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/star-command/id632079234 EDIT 2: Christ...I don't know. The bloody link on Slide to Play's "Big Game Night" article works. >____________>
MC, delete what's after id632079234?mt=8 on that link in the first page to get the correct link. Edit: I see it's corrected now.
Yep, the great KC has taken care of that. Thanks dude! Yeah, as soon as it popped up on the Lebanese store, I snagged it. Haha, you never know...you never know.
Well, I think you have a good shot at that. Here's why: 1. You haven't started referring to yourself as "Supreme Commander". 2. You're using your name by itself, rather than prefixing it with a title such as "Dr." (e.g., Dr. Coombs). 3. Your game is about 1,000X less complicated. 4. You don't need a Ph.D to figure out your game. 5. Your game went through a lengthy QA process. 6. Members of the press were allowed to preview your game. 7. You haven't (yet) attacked your fans or detractors. I'm sure this list could go longer, but I think I've already put together a good case. Congrats and good luck!! --DotComCTO
I'm going to wait until after there are a lot of impressions before I jump in, but I'm cautiously optimistic this is going to be awesome.
Wow an hour of footage? That's the longest video you've ever done right? You must really like the game then
This game looks cool, I've been drawn in by all the hype but I'll wait for some impressions before buying. I have a friend who's so excited about this that he's going to upgrade from his iPhone and buy an iPad just to play it.
Thanks for answering my question guys, that does make sense as a good use for the bridge (and engine room). Cheers Does a bridge (and engine room) that is not upgraded have a ship bonus when it is manned?
I`m trying to create those one Hour Specials if I believe that it`s needed to present the Core Gameplay Mechanics. Star Command is the perfect example where you need to see more then the usual 15/20 Minutes Gameplay simple because at the beginning it does try to teach you the basics and then throw you like after around 30. Minutes into the first real Battle while at the same time the Story Plot in the Game slowly does envolve. Showing less then that everyone would probably assume that the Game is way to easy, doesn`t contain a Story at all and that is way to unbalanced which is totally not the case. I`m even going that far to say that every Gameplay Trailer that does show less then at least one Hour or a hole Mission ( Prelude + Jump + Mission + Outro ) will harm the Game Sales because nobody will understand what`s going on on the Screen. The entire? So far it does look more like I`m covering less then 10/100 with that one Hour Trailer. Note: The Developer is free to correct me if the Game is longer at all.
