Anyone else find the game getting slow and laggy on them? It seems like there might be a memory leak or something.
I guess I just suck cuz this is really hard. I'm on the first bird people fight. Can only have 2 crew members per gun. The weapons charge pretty slow and take tons of shots to dent the ship, meanwhile the bird army boards the ship so to kill them I need to pull the crew off the guns. Maybe 2 will survive, but meanwhile the ship is pelting me and lighting fires all over. Not enough time to kill troops and get back to the guns, and if I miss any shots that's another setback. Just rage quit deleted it, can only get harder from here and I don't need that much aggravation.
Do characters retain the color of their shirts and the associated abilities when they leave a room and are in the hallways? It seems to me the shirts turn white again when they leave a room. And is there a way to get a blue shirt healer without building a medic room?
Yeah... I'm having a really hard time playing this on my phone... It might be great on an iPad... But I just can't handle the frustration of never being able to tap exactly where I need to in order to select crew members...
This game is so f..king hard... Is there a secret way or cheat to make it easier. My ship is no match against the ships in the 2nd system.
Yea it's like before my guys can snails pace head over to fight invaders, my ship (yes I upgraded defenses) is getting pelted and is on fire everywhere. Only one wave of invaders? Nope, steady stream of waves. The animation is pleasing but the cutscenes look worse than super Mario brothers and are almost jarringly bad. U guys gave these people 200k?
Oh no! I haven't even opened up the game yet... I suppose even if there's a zoom in feature by the time you zero in on a crew member something catastrophic happens...?!?
To GregB Your crew will keep their color shirts until you re-assign them to another room. A basic strategy is to hire the maximum number of crew of 10. Then you can have a team in the hallways made up of redshirts assigned to the bridge and the captain with a healer ready to take on boarders. You can fly back to a past location to get a few extra tokens to hire crew. Another strategy is to turtle in the weapon rooms with a healer and shoot the boarders as they come through the door.
I knew there was kickstarter support but I didnt know the amount. That's a lot. Those people are probably kicking themselves today. On another note, I have some awesome beachfront properly in Oklahoma to sell them if they are interested.
The game really isn't that hard. Just make sure you are upgrading your ship and make sure your dodge ammo and any other ammo is fully loaded prior to entering battle. It'll give you a much needed head start. I am really enjoying this game. Great job Warballoon!
I'm really not. Joking about in one thread on one forum in one tiny little corner on the internet has absolutely no effect on my life in general. You sound butthurt though.
Hey guys, if you time the shield regen ability perfectly when the enemy shot hits your ship (give or take a second or two), it can act as some sort of dodge, often preventing a boarding team. I managed to remove Gorl shield without getting boarded once (1000hp / 8000shld) with this technique (i had the basic ship with a full crew, dodge, shield, a laser canon and a machine gun) but i missed once and got overwhelmed since my ammo regen didn't catch up. Anyways, I just wanted to share this bit of knowledge. Great game, I'm really addicted to it at the moment. Also, I can't wait for the the extra content... Back to the game now!
Thank you! I hadn't realized crew could leave a room by any other means than reassigning them, which causes them to lose their color!
Before going to the princess planet.. Is there anything else to do at our galaxy? I don't want to miss anything
For those of u complaining it hard.. Try it on iPad it's slightly easier.. The mini games are easier.. I manage to get 12 rounds of machine gun on iPad but around 7-9 on iPhone..
