Don't buy this. They abandoned it shortly after release, did not live up to their kick starter promises and if you support them you are supporting horrid industry practices in my opinion

Go get FTL if you own an iPad

 

Yeah, it's no contest. Star Command is a pale reflection of FTL. Although I did enjoy Out There, it's not in the same league as FTL either, but it does it's own thing. And does it well. I would suggest FTL for anyone who owns an IPad, and Out There for everyone else. Star Command means well, but it lacks the atmosphere of Out There and the strategy of FTL.

 

You can get in on Tiny Trek for a 99 cents on IndieGameStand right now - it's very much a beta, but what is present is fantastic! IMHO the soundtrack is worth a buck already...

 

I'm waiting for Tiny Trek iOS, which will come on Dec. 24 at the latest, according to the dev in the upcoming games thread.
