Yankeeblue000, you've been with this from the beginning, if this was akickstarter project you'd have your special boxset with an elastic star cat key ring and a t-shirt lol
Whaaat!?..don't tease me,. Catch you on the next one. Future stretch goals!! Lol The moment I saw this game I knew it was going to be something special and I wasn't disappointed. In fact it exceeded my expectations. I'm glad I made the decision to try out this game because I was able enjoy this wonderful & unique experience and at the same time discover what an incredible talent you are. I look foward to all you're future projects with great anticipation. I wish you much success in all you're endeavors
Hahaha - I have lots of Ideas for a sequel already, plus a "directors cut" version where everything that could't go into this version would be put in and expanded! For example, the dragon level actually had a race with him over and under the ocean, while chasing the gem on its tail lol also, originally, I wanted each of the 7 level to have a unique tune! to fully tighten the audio visual experience...... BIG BUT, it all largely depends on the success of this one man so..
If you have ever wanted to try mushrooms but are nervous or hesistant, you should try playing this game. If you can get through a few levels without freaking out, you're probably good to go.
What a gift!! This is a huge treat guys. This is a beautiful game. It's incredibly fun, tricky & unique. To be honest as I said in another post in my personal opinion I suggest waiting for it to go back to its regular price of a buck to pick it up just to support the Dev. Trust me guys you won't be disappointed. It's a steal for what you get for a dollar. One my fav's. It's really a good game
I just had to say how much I enjoy and appreciate Star Cat Adventure! Your artistic direction, in my opinion, is unparalleled and one-of-a-kind. The visuals are so vibrant with color and texture it is truly art. Enemy and galaxy designs are so varied and unique, its like nothing I have ever seen before! After visiting you're website to learn more about you as a developer and about the game, I appreciate Star Cat Adventure all the more to read that it took a painstaking 6 years to make. However, the time and effort shines in its quality and uniqueness. I would love to see more galaxies added to the game in the near future, and I hope Star Cat Adventure gets the recognition it deserves. Thanks for creating an interactive work of art that will forever sit on my ipone home screen like a prized posession Lets all give it a review on the app store to help boost recognition of this gem!
mutant chameleon and EVERYONE who loved the game! I really appreciate the good words and feedback guys. I know this this thread is somewhat buried under the heap or stuff fire-hosing out on the stores! but for what it's worth here's a quick summary: Had a great launch and start on the Appstore: month 1, great! got featured on Unity "made with Unity" listed to talk at Unite Amsterdam Great response on linked in/ touch arcade fast forward 4 months: - Sales died after 30 days - apparently Apple only like to feature new games and ones selling well no matter how old they are - Star Cat Adventure failed to get featured in any capacity - Made the game free, sales peaked at 8k per day. Then suddenly a drop in a couple of days back to the 100s -> 10s and 1s - Total sales to date including free download 26,000. - Worked on an update to address initial feedback - mainly minor stuff like camera zoom and eased difficulty curve. added skip button and music toggle etc. - Game now priced at £0.49 - Just realised Android version - making it free initially Any questions / more than happy to answer - if it's still relevant lol Steam build next before i leave this game alone. Mutant chameleon - I may do something with more galaxies all depends how this thing ends Until next time LoneWolf101 >'-'<
Star Cat Adventure Full Trailer Hi Everyone, Been a busy few months updating the app which is now available for both iOS and Android. Lots of improvements following the reviews. But, I don't think I did Star Cat Adventure any justice with a short launch trailer, so here's my 6 years of development in just over 2 minutes! - Lonewolf Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel http://www.aamar.me/
