i am having my doubts of how good this game is, but because of the reviews I can go ahead and check it out. When I try it out I will leave my review.
Like I said, its the addiction, man. But I've seen people with 1,000s of apps and these days, I don't buy more than 3 or 4 a week anyway. It's way cheaper to have an addiction to apps then an addiction to console gaming. It's only a few dollars here and there. I'm an adult, I have a job, and there are far worse and more expensive addictions anyway. No big deal. I use to spend more, but the appstore is kinda past its prime/golden age. I have my spending in control these days. It's just, I still don't play quite a few games that I buy.
I really want to play this! I won a code from gameloft and they haven't sent it to me yet.. Really looking forward to giving it a shot though.
Looks like a fun (and well made) game, but I really wish Gameloft had some better writers. Just because it's a game where all you do is shoot and blow things up, doesn't mean I want a story dreamed up by an 11 year old with an over-active imagination, with writing targeted at people with pea-sized brains.
To everyone that is looking for a wingman shoot an invite my way emtking for gameloft live and also gamecenter
So far, favorite gameloft game yet. l love space flight sims, and this and gof2 should make for an awesome October/November ! As bad as the voice acting is, at least it's a step above "ribbit ribbit, ribbit ribbit"
I just got to play online (use gameloft live for this, it just doesen't work with gamecenter.). One word for describing the online multiplayer: B-O-A-R-I-N-G!
This is why digital download games are the future. I have this same addiction ESP to new systems I get. Since I recently got the iPad it started with me and combined with the amazing prices it keeps going daily. But for example when I had a jail broken psp I had the same addiction but to free home brew and emulators. I would collect hundreds of emulators for every system under the sun and it was more fun than even playing the games themselves. Researching and reading reviews on various obscure games from the 8 bit days and looking for fun translations was incredibly fun and a learning experience on classical gaming. I have the addiction too wiiware as well now and used wii games in gamespot due to how cheap they are as well. I don't get how new games even survive or make it snymore as publishers ply mske money on them.
It was so fun I would also called super Mario world hacks and other rom hacks and it was just for bragging rights that I had Mario games better than official nintendo ones for da all on my psp. Even if I didn't play them much due to having so much stuff on that psp I just admired having them on there for bragging rights. Also many great zelda hacks or mods.
So is it true 3D? Can you do loops? Can you crash into the ground? Can you fly straight up for a long distance? All the vids look like you can basically only go left and right and up and down maybe 15 degrees.
