    Hey Frand

How funny, I just sent you guys an E-mail today asking about this!

I am so excited and can't wait for this one!!!!!

Anymore stairs levels in this version?
Any Assumption of date of release?

Today we officially deny that the next update to Stair Dismount would be universal in nature. How could a universal game contain all the pixels of an iPad in an iPhone game? Where do those pixels go when they are not needed? Who pays for the electricity of those unneeded pixels? We do not know, so therefore denial is a solid policy.

Also, we apologize that due to our denials, we cannot participate in the hip trend of "HD" releases. Stair Dismount is abbreviated "SD" for all those who are detail-oriented, and we do not believe in added redundancy.

I say Secret Exit should take it one step further and deny the existence of the iPad!

It's big, smelly, and quite frankly, even though I think I own one, I have no reason to believe it's real (I think either I've shrunk or am holding my iPod Touch much closer to my face). I have nothing but pity for those developers toiling under the illusion such a device exists and hope that Secret Exit's refusal to acknowledge a universal version of Stair Dismount could serve as a model to other developers! :p

SD-HD, now that would be confusing. Thank goodness there's no "3D" in the title!!! Furthermore, I deny being extremely pleased that Universal was never an option. DENY, I SAY!!!! :D or is it

Hmmm... "Stair Dismount SD-HD 3D XTreme Platinum Deluxe Directors Cut Edition". I deny that has any sort of ring to it. :D

Awesome stuff guys. I wish the iPad existed to I could be all envious that I don't really have money to not spare to not buy it and not be totally bowled over by how awesome it is .. not. :D

I would be in the dismount Garden of Eden if Truck Dismount were to be released to the Appstore. I've played it so much on PC that an updated iPhone version (as you greatly updated SD for iPhone:)), would satisfy my fracture fetish!

Since the price of this app is ridiculously high at this time, and since there is no possiblity of this being released for a non-existant device known as an iPad, I am pleased to have not just purchased this app. Furthermore, I am perfectly happy to wait many hundreds of years waiting for an update that I know will never come, especially as it could not contain code for a device that does not even exist.

However, I cannot deny that ZB2 is an absolute masterpiece, as is by far the nicest looking game on my iDevice...

Stair Dismount 1.3.1 update submitted. Lite version too!

    - Universal binary for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch support
    - Sweet pop-overs and screen flipping support on the iPad
    - Fix for game failing to start on some devices
    - In-game camera fixes

Aiming is easier with larger screen estate.

Pop-overs are lovely for picking Facebook friend faces.

There are minor visual tweaks on the iPad version, like more detailed textures here and there.

And the Dismount photos taken on the iPad have nice anti-aliased outlines and a different aspect ratio.

    Best news in a while!

    Thanks a ton!

It looks awesome by the way!

Although it didn't look too bad playing the iPhone version on my iPad, having an HD version just really makes me happy.
It's so much more enjoyable playing the ipad specific version.

Sorry to bug you with this, any more stairs coming?

Aiming is really much nicer on the iPad native version since the layout is spacier. Also we tweaked the textures here and there, you'll notice a more detailed texture with scratches and grooves on Mr. Dismount now.

Next up, we're focusing on Zen Bound 2, and that's going to take a good while. We have ideas for a few more stairs, but no concrete plans have been made yet. If the game keeps a steady presence on the App Store, we'd be fools not to maintain the momentum, no? :)

Hey, this is Secret Exit we're talking about here, the rules of logic don't apply, just the one true rule of plausible deniability is the only thing that matters.

You didn't hear this from me since I was never here. :)

Wohoo! Downloading it now. Now all I need is for the iPad to appear in this country. *sigh* ...oh yeah. Money. I'll probably need money too. :p

There have been unsubstantiated rumors that an update to Stair Dismount would be under development. Such claims are categorically false and not to be trusted.

We are not working on an update to Stair Dismount Universal, nor does this post include a screenshot of a level in any such update.

Those horizontal protrusions in the image are not stairs by any definition. It is therefore undeniable proof that this image is not a screenshot from any stair-related entertainment product.

I hate people that are good at Photoshop and don't devote their time towards coding and creating beautiful artwork for potentially amazing apps! :(
