Looks like I'm going to have to "borrow" my wife's Iphone to play this, or maybe I'll just get one of my own. I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks for your feedback everyone! We really appreciate your encouragement over at Runt. @Gretsch: I thought you might be. When I'm not working on Stæm Punk I'm playing the drums, and Gretsch snares are some of my favorites. What We've Done I want to take a moment and update everyone on the progress of Stæm Punk. We're feverishly working to create our unique and entertaining platformer, and we've already made some promising headway: - Test environments have been created. - Citizen has been modeled and implemented within our test environments. He's moving quite well and enjoys his bit of freedom. - Mechanics have been created, tested, and tightened (including gravity, collision, and movement). - Several environmental assets have been created. - Most animations have been scripted. They're looking good. What We're Doing Currently, Sketch (Runt's CCO and Art Director) is fully engaged in visual pre-production. The concept art I've shared with you is only the beginning. Just wait. The world of Stæm Punk promises to be rich in unique visual steampunk glory! Schemer (Runt's CEO and Game Designer) is busy designing the explorable space within the Stæm Punk universe. He's responsible for transferring the endless pages of lore, logic, and design documents into frantic, entertaining levels of parkour-goodness in the palm of your hand. He's banging out the kinks in Level One as you read (unless it's really late at night). You'll find me composing the exciting, expressive soundtrack for Stæm Punk (as well as implementing sound effects). I'm using everyday sounds (the rhythmic woodpecker outside me and my wife's apartment complex, for example) as inspiration for our music, and it's progressing quite nicely thus far. Soon my attention will turn towards designing the mini-game challenges, but for now I'm fully entrenched in the world of sound. So there you have it! If you have any questions/general feedback about our development, don't hesitate to let us know. We'd love to discuss it with you. Thanks for your time, Scribble
Thanks Scribble! The Giants won the world series last night, so I had to take a break to celebrate, but I am back at it now! (We are in San Francisco). Thanks everyone for your support!

No offense, and keep in mind that I am very open to different cultures, but the Steam Punk community just cracks me up. Goofiest shit ever. I take about as seriously as I do Juggalos.
I hear you Booch138, but steampunk is more than a subculture of troglodytes who like to dress up. It's a very pervasive theme in the entertainment industry. Titles like World of Warcraft, BioShock and American McGee's Alice have traces of steampunk. Same with recent movies like Sherlock Holmes, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army and The Prestige. The possibilities of the genre are very intriguing. That's what we find so appealing about steampunk.
Exciting News! Greetings, Its with eager anticipation and humble gratitude I announce Runt has been selected for IGNs Indie Open House! The wait was agonizing and the competition fierce, but were extremely excited to finally begin working inside the offices of IGN Headquarters with the other four winners: Team Ethereal, Evanatiks, Interabang Studios and Cryptic Sea. We believe this opportunity will afford iron sharpening iron and, ultimately, provide a better gaming experience for you. In the meantime, help us celebrate by eating some cake, hugging a neighbor or simply getting the word out to your friends. And if youre curious about the program, or our project Stæm Punk, ask away! Stay tuned for more Stæm Punk updates coming soon! Scribble
