I I am looking for a spy like FPS (for a Mac/PC). Before you start shouting COD, I am looking for a sort of infiltration game. Where your job is to break into a building without being seen/silently taking out all of the enemies. I don;t want a war game where the aim of the game is just to fire at anyone you see.

Have any of you played No One Lives Forever? I really enjoyed that game and sniping people and luring then together so that I eliminate everyone ect. I checked out NLF 2 but is does not seem as good.

    Any suggestions?

Have you played any of the Splinter Cell games...it sounds exactly like what you are looking for.
I remember NOLF when it came out. What a great game! Funny, too.

    Splinter Cell looks perfect.
    Checking it out now.
    Thanks!

  4. I actually enjoyed NOLF2. Granted there's not a lot of sniping, but there are parts in the game where it's wise to hide in the shadows and pick people off one by one -- the ninjas in particular. I loved that at one stage I was sniping with a crossbow down a street when one of the ninjas wandered into view. So I led the target, fired, and literally speared her to a door. Good times. :)

Splinter Cell is certainly a top notch stealth game though. And of course, the earlier games like Thief and Thief II, both great stealth games, though in a fantasy setting.

I'd recommend any games from the Hitman series. Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money are the best IMO.
The game is genius - you have to kill specified targets without anyone noticing. You can kill people in a number of amusing ways, many of which involve specific items found in the environment, sometimes you can make the death look like an accident (I won't spoil it with any details). Sometimes the levels can be pretty challenging, but the way in which you kill people can always be different or unique. It makes contract killing look like an art.
