Sprima released an iPhone App to teach kids Science in a novel fun-filled way. Kid learns about natural science, social science, and other artifacts about science, while having fun in iPhone/iPad. The application "KidsScience" challenges kids to think out-of-box while having fun with Science. It tracks the number of correctly answered questions and provides feedback after each question. The app is available in AppStore to be downloaded for general public. Here are 10 Promo Codes. Feel free to use them. First come first serve. Try out one after another. Folks can't write a review when they've used a promo code. That said, I think the game has promise, but isn't a lot of fun to play right now. The questions are of random difficulty, and aren't in categories (other than elementary and high school), and seem to just be rather random questions. Some questions seem to repeat more often, and so not sure of the total number of questions. The game appears timed, but doesn't have a set goal that I can see. You quit when you want and it tells you a score and the time taken. There is no history or record of a player's games, so no incentive to play and beat a score. Sub-categorizing the questions would be nice, and perhaps creating set games of 10 or 20 questions could be good. Keeping record of the players would be good too, so that friends/siblings can compete. The answers are close together, so accidentally hitting the wrong one is fairly easy. I'd suggest spreading out the answers a bit more. There are also a few spelling errors that I've seen. The canned computer response "wow", "great job" and such don't really inspire, so changing that might be good, too but maybe not as critical. So - the idea is good, but needs some work to make it more interesting, challenging and enjoyable. I think addressing some of these comments might help.
Thanks Secondtime. Appreciate your feedback. We are already implementing a couple of features you talked about such as (1) Storing score of last 10 games (2) bucket of questions (3) Adding categories. These all should be available in next releases.
