Given they're nearly fifty years old, it's understandable. But we wanted to change that view as we promote our "lost game from 1976". Here's a compilation tribute video for YouTube Shorts showing how fun and colorful those games of that year really were. It's also a bit of a teaser for Spooky Pixel Hero, made with its lore in mind. I love retro style graphics as at the end of the day it’s all about gameplay. This looks so playable. No double jump, no falling and then jump mechanics. Just a single jump from ground and some spring bumpers to get us higher if needed. I'm happy with how it turned out! The reason I opted to have no double jump is because this game was meant to be a standalone prequel as well, which is why I had to find a way to make the graphics feel more retro than the other games released so far as well.
