The stuff that loads in the TA app takes you to the game if you hit the $999.99 price button. It'll take a while for the appinfo to update but I'd imagine it should happen soon enough.
This game is great. It was worth every penny I spent on it for $1000. Now that's it's $3.99 it's definitely a steal!
Either I'm an idiot, or I just can't figure out what "method/criteria" unlocks new characters. Is it just replaying levels?
Does this mean the game is also released on pc and I can get my copy from the humble bundle from years ago?
Wait...7 years? Anyway, I'm surprised this game isn't getting a LOT more attention. Other devs that aren't Frozenbyte should take note: these controls work, and not only do they get the job done, they do it well. The gameplay here is fun and challenging, the graphics, colors and animations all lend to an overall inviting game world. I love this game. There are 85 GameCenter achievements!! That alone will keep me coming back to Splot time and again and every time I open the game to play it feels very familiar and welcoming. Great job Frozenbyte, Richard
Thanks for pushing me over the fence Richard. I've been waiting for some sort of feedback besides the weird price tag. Lol
It may not be anything like the price that people STILL aren't reading was a mistake ... but 3.59 here, I'll have to read some outside of here reviews. People can be overly nice when they know the dev's are looking in here at times.
Yeah this mechanism surprised me as well. Looks like you have to play the levels over and over again until you have the four puzzle pieces which seem to be awarded randomly
Well, you don't have to replay the levels, unless you want to collect new Splot skins. And yes, it does seem random, as to whether you get vault pieces. There are a few other ways to get skins, ie. certain achievements. I personally am collecting all the skins for an area after I three star all the levels. I guess it's a way to get replayability out of the levels, but I'd much rather see leaderboards based on completion times.
Agreed. I seriously don't understand TA sometimes. This is a premium game, great graphics, wonderful artwork and not a shred of IAP to be found, yet the to of the forum thread activity lately has been 70% freemium trash! I gave the game a five star "review" on the US AppStore (more so just my happy thoughts ) and I stand firmly by that five stars. If I could rewind time, there's a ton of iOS purchases I wouldn't make a second time, this would without a doubt be bought and played again.
Great! These are awesome indie devs who have a great game here and they deserve our (TA communities) support. Please come back with feedback, thoughts and imps. I promise there's no b.s. Just a great action/platformer with tons of content
Your 100% correct. This game is great! I have not made it to anything challenging yet because I only played 4 levels but I can see that so far I know this was a really good buy. Also, it seems that they made everything perfect from the menus and everything. It looks like this game has some serious replayabily with all of the skins to collect, it's pretty mind blowing. On top of that there are a huge amount of objectives/achievements, a level up system with xp, and stating power ups that you can unlock. I think the only thing this game is missing is some sort of Bluetooth/wifi multiplayer so you can race against other people.
Hmm..I never thought about that, now that would be fantastic great summary cp, thanks for following up on my recommendation, I'll be watching for any from you as I trust your gaming instinct as well. Richard
As always Rich spending my money, lol. Just kidding, your words gave me a push, and well worth it! Thanks buddy!
