Gameloft announced this for the end of June so I'm guessing they might have run into a few bugs that they have to iron out before letting it go. But one thing we can be sure of, they're late sometimes but Gameloft always delivers anyway. Patience my young Anakin!
Looks like there aren't too many shadows to duck into. I mean.... anywhere. If the focus isn't on stealth, it'll ruin the game.
I agree. Splinter Cell was always a great game because of the emphasis on stealth. However, the iPhone game downplayed the stealth aspect, so I am not expecting much from the iPad version, either...
I wish it were so... but look at this shot: How would you find a shadow in there? I'd rather the graphics be scaled back, but the use of shadows and vertical cover be deeper. Look at "Helsing's Fire", and its use of shadows..... http://www.youtube.com/user/RatloopGames I'd prefer those graphics, if I had to choose between that and lame, no-stealth gameplay.
