it's really fun! the beginning you get to create your own character male or female, Mage or barbarian, and you can change hair and skin color, it starts in a boat ur with a spirit give me that legend of Zelda vibe. controls are awesome and you can switch to a d-pad if you want. graphics are pretty damn cute and gorgeous and the IAP.... uhh is...
I understand why you'd say that, I've never played anything by Kabam before, but you'd be wrong. This is a "white hat" F2P game with talent from BioWare AND Blizzard. Many studios say they create something they'd play themselves, but these guys may actually mean it. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and happily dropped 5 bucks on the Beginner's Bundle. This from a guy who only has 2 free-to-play games on his entire device -- this, and Vainglory. The only "catch" I can see is that it's online only. Really though, that's not bothering me -- this game is basically an MMO in the tradition of Torchlight (ARPG influence) and Warcraft (story, creatures, artistic influence).
Anyone know if they plan on adding another class? I really want to try this game out but with only two classes I just can't justify the room. I basically require stealth classes well some kind of rogue, fast paced class.
Wondering if this works on iPad2, earlier in this thread PeteOzzy said it wasnt compatible with the iPad2. But from the description it says "Works with iPhone 4S+, iPod touch 5th Generation+ and iPad 2+ " . Anyone can confirm either way for me?
For the love of god please tell me how you switch to this. I f'ing hate tap to move especially when it means tapping where you would like to have clear line of sight or don't want to hit other buttons inadvertently. But I see no such option. There is a TA guild by the way.
umm in the setting menu press the gear and at the bottom it says touch, press it and different control options come out though I've only used the touch to move control
Oh, while playing a level? Ahh, okay. I had only looked at the main screen options menu. Thanks!! Edit: That did the trick. You just saved this game for me. That is the only tweak missing from the main options page. They are otherwise identical. I don't know why they did it that way.
Ha. That explains the tiny one I'm in! Odd that it's the only one that comes up when I search (for "touch").
Still haven't found that game with proper jump in, jump out multiplayer. I guess you have to have people on friends list to coop? I dont like friends lists, there's never someone within the level range to play with. Games need a lobby where you can jump into a game starting on the level your playing. You team up, play it and move on. No need for endless friends lists of either Inactives or over/under leveled. Sighhh.
I think this game is pretty great. Super smooth on my iPhone 6 and Retina Mini. People complaining about free games are the worst.
Why not stick to the right titeled thread http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=256625&highlight=spirit+lords
