I'm currently developing a new puzzle game for iOS which has a very simple premise: Drag the circle to the target as fast as you can! Don't be fooled by the simple looks. The game is actually quite challenging. You need to guide the circle through the mazes without crashing into the walls or other objects throughout (currently) 9 different stages. Each stage adds a new challenge/gameplay that gradually increases the difficulty. Gameplay Trailer: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel You can find more gameplay videos here: https://everyplay.com/spiral-splatter/videos Here are some examples of the levels: I currently have 86 levels finished, and aim to get 100+ levels before launch. I'm looking for beta-testers who want to pick the game/levels apart and see if they are not too difficult or frustrating! If you are interested in testing the game on iOS, send me a PM or mail me @[email protected], so I can throw you a testflight beta invite!
Yes, the circle is more or less a guide for your finger. If your finger doesn't touch the walls or obstacles you should be safe! The game is meant to be a bit challenging, but the levels in the video previews belong to the more difficult stages. There are many easier levels that will make you more comfortable with the controls before you get to these stages.
I've made a new trailer that showcases a bit more of the gameplay: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Beta Update I have updated the beta with 20 new levels and fixed a few bugs. I have also added a larger touch area on the circle for people with big fingers! I'm still looking to get more feedback, so let me know if you want a beta invite!
I have released another update for the beta that should make the game a bit easier: - Increased the radius of the area that you can use to drag the circle. - Added a visual indicator of the area where you can place your finger - The timer now starts when you start moving the circle, instead of when the level started. - Added a "skip level" button in the reset screen (the button appears after you have hit the reset button 3 times) - Tweaked the timers of the levels a bit. I'm still looking to get more feedback, so let me know if you want a beta invite!
