WOW! This is amazing! I love it, fantastic game, great game, amazing game. Awesome game. I can't really say anything else right now.
Since I assume they plan to release more episodes, they would do well to drop the price again now that it has all the attention. Get people hooked on the first episode and charge full price for the next.
Okay folks, here's my initial imps as promised: Ok, I am just sinking my teeth into this after grabbing it while on sale and, WOW! I am really having a lot of fun! Immersive story Great gameplay elements Quality graphics Smooth frame rates so far on my iPad 4. Overall high level of polish and love seems to have gone into this. This is a very good sign for iOS gaming to be getting serious fully developed and exclusive titles. Only qualms so far are some of the animations and the naming like "Tempus Azure", which is kind of cheesy and seems out of place for such an otherwise compelling and well written story. Seems more like that would be the name a 13 y/o D&D player would give his Mage character than a cybernetically modified and highly trained Agent. Though far from a deal breaker, it does suspend my immersion a bit. BIG Thanks to the devs for this immensely enjoyable title and here's to Success for this and the rest of the episodes! Cheers! Also, big thanks to Exact-Psience for peaking my interest! I am glad I bit this one
Or, they can take advantage of the attention, and play it out with a full price, since people are gonna be more interested with TA's 4.5-star review.
I do buy games at full price (WHQ, X-Com most recently) but this is not something I'd normally buy. I'm not particularly a fan of FF style RPGs (which is how the vid comes across) but the characters and story looked interesting. So at the price it was I'd just take a chance on it and if I enjoyed it I'd get the next episodes without question, but at full price I won't take a blind chance.
I dont see anyone in this whole thread that says this was an FF type of RPG. Take a gander at TA's review, and see if that works for you.
What's unbelievable to me is that just one look at their trailer couldn't satisfy anyone as to its unique superiority, both deserving and capable of defying those others' fate, given our fittingly consummate support. Turning others' failures into reason to attack this one's potential success and hamstring others' potential in future is the height of self-flagellating stupiditynot to mention its souring you on a great game, series or no. Thankfully, it seems to be gaining some organic traction because of how thoroughly awesome it actually freaking is, despite all the cobwebs in gamers' craniums regarding its horrendously arrogant price, title, and ambitions.
I wasn't suggesting they had. Unlike other epic threads, I hadn't read this one yet. I watched the video and what I saw made me think it looked similar to other FF game trailers I've seen. I will peruse the comments and review.
Glad TA gave a 4.5/5 rating! Perfect timing after the XCOM week! Enjoyed chapter 4 too. Looking forward to the next chapter!
