Yep, Hardcore will have it's own leaderboard. No option to pay more at the moment. My suggestion there; keep doing what you're doing. Be a fan, tell your cousin to play, keep up with my projects in the future. As for the sensitivity slider, I thought about this awhile ago, but I decided against it. I made the physics of the ship and the ship's propulsion very specific, and I built the enemy designs and guns around these specific variables, and I think that allowing the players to change the ship physics could give them an unfair advantage and possibly make the game unfun. I figure that the correlation of rankings would be pretty even with the time leaderboards though because of the way I designed the spawning system.

Hey and does the spawn rate cap around 2:10 or so or it just keeps ramping up till you die ? Does killing in the early game cause the spawn rate to change at all or it's just according to time ?
No Neighborhorde yet! Thanks for asking though. After this next SPINGUN update, I'll be able to jump back into that project and finish it up. I'm pretty sure the spawn rate DOESN'T actually cap out, so it'll keep getting fast and faster, but I DO stop the spawn multiplier from increasing any more than 3 at a time. And it doesn't directly affect the later spawn times to kill em quick, but only the very next spawn delay will be cut. Does that make sense? After that quick next spawn after a quick kill, the spawn delays are reset to a 'normal' time.
Can you have the hardcore endless cap off somewhere ? Like it could get really damn hard but then if it capped there, you could squeeze out extra time for really good play ( I mean one freakin hit you die) as opposed to it continuing to get harder till you take that one hit. I think this could make it really interesting let me know your thoughts
The difficulty ramp in hardcore is a bit different. You'll see! And omg... That time is insane! HOW? Got any Spingunnin' tips for people that want to play better?
Of course haha, First and for most it's -super important to farm lots of health early game. The more you don't get hit early game the more you can keep raising your health cap. - mid game, try and keep your health stocked up Killing a enemy from underneath can ensure you pick up the health pack quickly and can move onto another enemie just as quickly. If the med pack is falling all the way to the bottom that's all the time you can't get another enemy to drop a pack. - late game, it's all about enemy prioritizing. If your just shooting away with no type of focus, every little triangle guy you kill can thus spawn a deadly amored triangle guy (sorry don't know what to call them) -the upgraded triangle shooter dudes are usually my first focus, they shoot fast, accurate and deadly. -if you see a bunch of shooters huddled in a corner, that's perfect case- killing one you can get them to explode and deal AOE to all other enemies near them. -hope you don't get chainer late game haha (soon to be fixed) I hope this helps in some what and if anyone has other specific questions just let me know, glad to try and help!
The most important thing though is persistence and just enjoying the game. Just because you guys see me up there doesn't mean I just always get up there. To be honest I think I got 2:10 + only 4 times. So this game is still even tough for me! I often times die around 1:45~ It never gets "easy"
Great tips, Esty! Target prioritization especially is something many people easily forget in the chaos of the battle, but it's super important once the screen gets filled with baddies. Yikes! Glad the reset worked. Any error message shown, or just a hard crash? I think this has to do with some old ad sdk I'm using. I'll try to get this fixed asap. Thanks for the report!
I'm going to give this another chance and download the game with update . Toucharcade gives it a lot of props but the controls for me were so horrible . I spent ten minutes not Being able to control it at all
Hey Jay, hope you enjoy it, though the update won't necessarily make things easier for you, especially the new hardcore mode. The controls do take some time to master, but once you get the hang of it, I think it's pretty satisfying. You're never going to have complete control, and (like Esty said) it's never going to get "easy", but that's kind of the point. Anyway, hope you have fun with it, and let me know if you'd like any tips!
Ha yep, I figured I should set a standard for you all. (Really, I have no idea how I did that. I can get 38 seconds a few times after that, but I must've been totally zen'd out with that run.)
Crashed on load for me as well. iPhone 6 running IOS 9.3.5 It's instant too. It's the second you tap the icon. Billy
