I second the request for unlockables. Unlockable game modes, ships, weapons, skins, everything. Besides high scores, I always love the sense of progression I get with unlockables.

@smes I think I'll be implementing some form of unlockables for the next update. (Probably will only be accessible for paid players through the 'Customize' screen.) // @esty OMG that time is insane. ARE YOU HUMAN?! // @Mrbestapps I really like that idea for a "hardcore" mode with only 1 hp. Yikes! I guess I'd have to disable the "Quick kills award hp" mechanic for this mode though, right? Sounds brutal! As for a "restore purchases" button, did your purchase get lost or something? If you are having any problems you should be able to just reselect the item you purchased and it will give you it for free (after sign-in). Could you please make me able to change the color of the laser to black or white? Also could you make a ship that looks like the poop emoji?
I've got some possible unlockable fancy lasers in the works MrWubbs, but black might not show up very well. Esty, I definitely want to stay away from anything that infringes on copyrights, but I can definitely do a starfox-inspired ship! Keep it coming with the ideas, y'all. Here's what I've got so far. Restore purchase would be nice. I paid twice but maybe it was because I think I chose cheaper option second time I installed it.
SPINGUN 1.1 update in the works now: - LOTS more custom ships! - Unlockables system (not totally sure how this will work yet, probably based on kills or achievements). - 'HARDCORE ENDLESS' game mode for paid players. - Big buff to the 'CHAINER' weapon (projectiles fade time increased 33%, and damage increased 20%, and 20% higher chance of multiplying on hit.). - Objective for the silly Ballpit mode. - 'Restore Purchase' button on 'UPGRADE' screen. - Fixes for landscape buttons displaying incorrectly. - Fixes for an uncommon crash on startup after being in standby. - 'PRE-RELEASE' text changed. Whoops. - Various other small bug fixes. Is there anything I'm missing here? Any new ideas you guys want to see?
Hey y'all. I'm trying to finish up the Spingun 1.1 update, but I have two questions that maybe you can help me out with: 1. This new hardcore endless mode is quite fun. it'd be really simple to add an "easy mode" now too. SHOULD I DO THAT?? 2. I've got customizable laser, ship body, and boost now. Lots of you want some "progression" system and I'd like to give you that, but idk how exactly I should do that though. I could give the player 'points' to spend based on number of kills or something like that, and then they can unlock items by spending the earned points. OR I could unlock random items every few games (Rocket League style), especially if you do well. OOOOR, most simply, I can lock off certain sections of the customization until you get certain achievements (like 60 seconds+ on endless to unlock sight colors, beat all zones to unlock ships, etc). What's funnest?? I've been working crazy hard to get this update finished before I go out of town on Wednesday. Hope you like it!
Obviously I don't care about easy mode so you someone else can answer that one =p hardcore mode will have its on leaderboards yea? And kills to unlock sounds great then you can go and buy what you want but you can leave it to whatever anyone wants =] I'm just most excited for this chainer buff haha maybe I can finally get 2:40 in endless. (Wait no.... I'm excited for this hardcore mode as well) haha is there a way to pay more after this update drops ? Is it options somewhere ?
My cuz keeps asking me to recommend a sensitivity slider... One- I don't know if that's really hard implement or not. Two- I can't tell if that's a good idea or not, being able to 180 faster and get the guys behind you might make the game eAsier for the people that would use high sensitivity... But I figured I'd put his comment here anyway =p
This game is incredibly clever and it's awesome how the dev is so active and willing to take suggestions. Prime example of why forums like this can really help a game develop. Great work, all of the potential updates sound great, curious to see what you do for. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but maybe for endless have a leaderboard of kills as well as time?
