Ok, so what are we going to discuss there? I think its safe to say its all the "usual suspects" that keep posting consistently. Only thing we can possibly discuss there is the possible updates/extra levels/new game ideas based on the same premise. Hmmmm, doesn't sound too bad. Ok, lets go back there. But someone better tell me how to get to the secret room before I explode.
The database that records top scores for the leaderboards tells me that worldwide, only 3 people who weren't part of the dev team or playtesters have found the secret room so far. Based on their iPhone names, I'd guess the names of these superstar sleuths are Andy, Luke, and someone else. Not everyone is connected to the internet, so there could be others, too. Sometimes I worry we made the secret room too hard to find, but as long as it's fun to search for, I worry a bit less. - Randy
I'm glad you didn't make it too easy, if we could all find it by ourselves it wouldn't be half as fun as a community effort. I smile when I think back on the days when everyone was refusing to sleep because they didn't wanna miss the revelation when someone finally found the IWHBYD skull in Halo 3.
Hi, Randy. Can you tell us if we are on track so far with our guesses as to the Bryce mansion mystery? (highlight) Troubled marriage, murder, suicide?
Highlight: I agree with eugekava that the rivalry between R. Bryce (the man in the chair, I think) and N. Bryce started long ago. N. Bryce is clearly thought of as a "winner" in the family - there are several photographs of him wearing some sort of military medal and there is a 1st place trophy with his name on it on a shelf - while R. Bryce is barely acknowledged and has only a 2nd place trophy on display. I found the secret room on my own yesterday (both prerequisites have been mentioned in this thread, by the way), but I can't figure out what it has to do with the story, if anything.
Spoiler: Highlight There seem to be 2 parallel mysteries. CK Bryce was in sime kind of society (freemasons?) various clues point to the location of the secret room. arrows, diagrams, levers, etc. In addition to that there is another mystery detailing the family tragedy. I think we can guess as to what happened. The end is clear - Bryce family is no more.
@WooHooII (highlight) Please give me a hint. Is it to do with the order in which the levers need to be turned in the heater room?
Finally found the secret room, took three tries before I got it. First run through was exploring, second I found everything I needed to get into the secret room, third I put it into practice.
Highlight:Yes. The right sequence should give you the sound of something unlocking instead of the normal sound. I believe the clock needs to be changed too, but I'm not certain about that.
Found the room! Finally. thanks, WooHooII. Now I can try other modes... I kill dragonflies by setting a web under them and then jumping on them from above and tackling them onto the web. takes a few tries, but is worth it.
Wow, that's pretty cool ;-) I would guess that I am Luke. Fame and fortune surely await, as I travel the world desleuthing and eating bugs! cubecheat (Luke Wilson)
Alright, goin at it in a bit. Thank god the game is so enjoyable if I gotta keep experimenting sorta like a fun version of a mini Myst puzzle. This just gets better and better. I hope they're working on something to keep our interest by time we all get it. I'd hate for to go the way of Fieldrunners. Btw, I'm seeing spiders everywhere I go outdoors now LOL Haven't flicked any....
Would you mind sending me the same pm? Thanks! I have a pretty deep theory pieced together from hints someone posted on another forum. I'd post here but I don't know how to make it only appear when you highlight it.
@IzzyNobre To make letters invisible after you type the text highlight it and change text colour to white. PM sent.
