Ok, this game NEEDS a level selection in the next update! Somehow I missed two secrets and I'd like to go back to those levels to see if I can unlock the secret room.
Man, is it refreshing to play a game that's not some clone of something else, and that looks, feels, and plays this well. There have been some great games released in the past few days, most of which I was eagerly anticipating. Here's one that can stand with that group, and it came completely out of the blue without any of the overblown (Minigore) pre-release hype. I'm web spinnin' like a mofo.

Don't hesitate. I've bought a s**tload of games as well...probably 50 bucks worth in the last week alone. This is one of those games that is original, and could only really be done on the devices. You could have used the stylus on the DS, I guess, but it feels really cool to flick your webs. Also, this game is as tight as a drum control-wise. For a game like this that is so movement intensive, this was crucial...they nailed it.
Is it just me that finds creepy the fact that every time you put down your finger, the spider is after it? Looks awesome, on my wish/favorites list! I've stated my opinion before on games filled with developers love. Kudos guys!
I took the plunge and picked it up this afternoon after reading the first couple of pages of this thread. Not only does it sound like a great game, but I wanted to show my support for the devs Keep making original, high quality games and I'll keep buying 'em.

like a plank i missed 1 of the secrets on completion. is there an alternative end if you get them all or?
crash on startup workaround A couple of folks (including darrinsden earlier in this thread) are reporting a weird problem where they crash on app startup. Darrin sent me some very helpful crash logs and I was able to find him a successful workaround. It seems to be extremely rare but I wanted to post the fix somewhere public (and the website still isn't ready). We will definitely submit an update to properly address this issue in the code, but this workaround may help in the meantime. IF YOUR GAME IS CRASHING ON STARTUP, give this a try: - Go to your iPhone's Settings -> General -> International -> Language - Change your language to any language (say Español). - Let the device do its thing. - Go back into the settings and reset your device to your native language (if going from Spanish back to English, the path is: Ajustes -> General -> Internacional -> English. - Run Spider - Enjoy If you are having any problems running the app, please email us at support (at) tigerstylegames (dot) com. Good to know you're on the case David I haven't had any problems but let's try and make sure it stays that way.
David was EXTREMELY helpful in fixing this issue... which also fixed my issues with the other game. great game and great support, I love the combo Darrin silly bugs... though perhaps appropriate considering the game
