I was the "early adopter" and fell in love with this game. I was a bit skeptical about the new levels. I was worried that they will somehow spoil the original experience. In actual fact new levels and music fit in perfectly. This is one of those classic games that will stay on my iPod/s forever.
What, still waiting? Trust TA front page you won't want to miss out on game of the year. I've had the game for 4 months and it's still on my device. This is a must get imho.
am I the only one not raving about this game :/ it's definitely a well-designed and very unique game, but I never really went back to it once I finished all the levels
FFS Random Guy, I see you here AND moaning in the Canabalt thread! But seriously, For the last 6 months I have thought the same as you, until I tried the Hornet Smash promo which made me take the plunge and buy it. It is GOTY. And Canabalt, just get it.
Same here. It's simply not that appealing. It's beautifully drawn, controls are cool, story concept is nice. But I'm just not addicted enough to finish this game. Other story with the new Chop Chop Ninja, which I just finished some minutes before, here I really had a blast and couldn't lay it down. But I guess I will try again putting the spider back on my iPhone.
Haha I see David Tiger has cast a vote I think we're all gonna have to agree not to play the shill card here, cause it's gonna happen with every game. Unless someone goes to extremes and makes multiple accounts just to vote then we should let these ones slide.
Wow, I thought the secret ballot was the bedrock of democracy To be fair, I did play like 500 hours of Spider this year.

Spider 1.2 Hey everybody, Our iOS 4 update just went live in the app store! This version has a few little bells and whistles for those of you with an iPhone 4. We played with the camera distance, upgraded some of the level art, improved the spider webs, added support for fast app switching, swapped out the Director's Cut icon for the classic original, and more The game looks pretty sweet on the retina display now, I hope you all enjoy it! Us Tiger Style peeps are still hard at work on our second game and can't wait to share it with you .. hopefully later this year! David
