there are also the possibilities of mini games as well When you said endless mode, the first thing that came to mind was a doodle jump type mini game where you have to either keep going up, or to the side obstacles could damage your web and you have to eat to obtain web i dunno, just an idea I am excited about the free update December is right around the corner thank you for the Holiday Present
I just saw the leaderboard for this game and there is lot of multiple names there. Charlotte's web has 10 socres in top 25, bindango has 7 scores, maggie has like 5.. the leaderboard is a mess. I suggest only keep the highest scores for each player so they won't spam the highscore table.
And to think this thread started out with a ton of suspicion, and even a user interrogating the developer. Lol. I thought that was pretty funny, considering how amazing this game is, and how much of a success it seems to be
Hopefully, ole' Squirt is eating his words...like a Spider eating a fly. Unfortunately, there are plenty of rude forum members here who post first and think later (if they even bother to think at all.)
grats on making it to the best of 2009 and top of the list too! I've been telling my friends about spider for a while and people were huh? Now please give us more levels or spider 2
all my friends play are tap tap and cube runner. they say all other ipod games suck and "cube runner is the shit." I don't bother trying to find somewhere to begin telling them about other games
Thanks guys! Our free "Director's Cut" update -- with 10 new levels, level select, a slew of new achievements, and more -- is going to be submitted very soon (hopefully tomorrow!). We'll be back with more info soon, I'm sure
I am so glad it is going to be submitted soon! With this update Spider will jump back on the map and hopefully generate even more sales. I think that it is safe to say that front page coverage is guaranteed when update comes out. With X-mas coming, hopefully the update will not be delayed.
Is it just that you can't reach the updated version? It just got accepted by Apple about an hour ago, so the new version won't be available everywhere until the Apple servers have time to work their magic. Yay, it's out!
The App Store has been doing that a lot in the past month or so. I find that if I keep retrying a given app, the update eventually works, but sometimes it takes many retries. Or save the effort and wait a while before retrying (in case itÂ’s something the App Store will resolve automatically).
