I think it is a time zone thing. I have one Thanksgiving Event and the other one expired last night at midnight. This one expires tonight at Midnight. I think the Stealth event(s) begin at Midnight on the 27th (or 28th, depending on how you look at it) and it is dependent on your time zone. I am in EST, so for me the new events would begin, I assume, in just over 13 hours as the last Thanksgiving event ends.
Guess what, they solved the problem of the two events. But they deleted the event i was playing on. My rewards are still here, but im still afraid of touching the 2nd event... so i cant play for Stealth Spidey. As someone said he has the same "problem": I contacted customar care for it and let you know what they answered.
It was me, same thing happened as well. I assumed the removed both and replaced it with the proper one! I have just started playing the one that's there.
Any idea what Stealth's abilities are? I have a weird feeling it'd be the same as Sonic. Anyways, did someone actually do the Spider-woman and Cyborg events? I was reading the comments in Fb posts about how people got cyborg/spider-woman and how people accuse them of hacking. Sure maybe some of them hacked but Im sure most of them got it from when they released cyborg/spiderwoman's event for like 30 minutes and Im sure that wasn't hacking. Heck, I started doing the events for assassin that time when after 30 minutes they removed the other two. Just saying it wasnt their fault they got cyborg/ spiderwoman. tl;dr People accuse most players who got cyblrg and spider woman as "hackers". Feel sorry for those guys
Yep, the event's finally showing up for me too. Glad they sorted out whatever bug there was. Time to get my Sonic to level 90! According to the news post, he has different abilities: +1 for attacks, 40% boss bonus. PS. Is anyone else excited for the next update? Issue 5, Doc Ock, new abilities, and new types of events apparently. Hopefully they have some "most vials/combos/KOs/etc. in one run" events. Those would be a challenge and a good test of skill while still giving everyone a chance. And I'm really looking forward to issue 5 now that I should be able to meet the level requirements. Can't wait to see Doc Ock!
One of the most gamebreaking abilities in this game: 2x combo from attacks and another 2x combo from attacks. Plus 4 combos on enemies never felt so good!
Can you transfer progress? I have been playing on my iPad but want to transfer to my new '6, not sure how though...
Yes you can. It should be automatic if you're logged in to GameCenter with the same account on both devices (I guess using the Facebook login will work too)
Is anyone else gonna use the Superior Portal again when it comes with it's buff event? I'm kinda having a hard time to choose between Spider-gwen's portal and his.
I don't know what order they'll open in, but I plan to use Superior's portal. He's got decent skills, plus I have him at 5/7, so my chances of getting a max legendary to play Ch. 5 with are much better with him. That being said I'm only spending 12 ISO each day on the new premium portal so by the time they come back I'm hoping I'm stacked and lucky enough to max them both. Also very happy with the new premium portal. Ben Reilley 5* seems to be the new vanilla pull, but I only had one cover for him so I don't mind. This new portal has been great for filling out my stable of 5*s for later event buffs - I've needed every one I've pulled so far. Even landed 2 vanilla legends!
Ahh, legendary Spiderman, the only Spiderman that I actually crave for in that portal. Anyhoo, I actually need 3 more Superior Spideys. I got 1 at 3/7 and the free one at the buff event. :/ However, I'd get more urge of pulling Spider Gwen out if I actually win her from an event portal progress reward. But then again, if I end up spending most Iso-8 I have with the reward of having a near maxed Spider-gwen, then I will spend the remaining iso-8 in order to fully max her rank, but im actually hoping that if Spider gwen and superior's portal would coincide for at least a day. or they place assassin's buff event first so i can have more time to earn iso-8 (skipping his portal out)
Does iCloud sync work for you guys? It doesn't really want to sync between my iPhone and iPad. Also the daily deal where you can buy a premium portal for 12 ISO-8 never shows up on my iPhone. What's up with that?
So the event portal, uhh, why is it big time sonic? Im pretty sure they took out that portal yesterday yet they brought it back.
Another Spider Screw-Up. It's kind of surprising when we go a full week without something being obviously implemented incorrectly. It's like the people who set up these events just don't care "about a bunch of kids playing a game" (in which case, why do you have the job you have?) or else the're just careless or overburdened or something. Some power at Gameloft sees enough potential in this game to be throwing more resources at it to continue development and releasing content, but there needs to be some care given to how the events and day-to-day lifeblood of the game are run too. I'm not yet one of the people who's been driven away by this stuff, but it continues to frustrate me, obviously, and reflects poorly on my perception of the Gameloft brand.
