Think of it this way, easy events? Easy iso-8. After i defeated 9 vultures, i stopped doing it. First, cause theres no event portal in my game, second, an iron spider.. Really? Anyways, its my first time getting the surpass your highscore in unlimited run. And wow, i can get really good at this game if i wanted to! Not to brag or anything, im sure you guys do 3 million without dying, but in my case, i only used a revive once! Then i knocked my guy out in case i need to get a btter high score again. And woah, the top 99 in android are getting furious too, theyve been scoring laserbeams out of this game
Actually i feel ya. Unlimited mode feels harder cause the game throws everything at you at such short distances such as 1000m, and it has all the variety of the environments too unlke in some events, its predetermined (dat iron spider event, all the swinging T-T) and also, bosses take a bit longer to defeat. Speaking of which, i found it funny that in fb, they said that sandman is the hardest boss? Well, not in my android. Electro, has more than electric hands, he has the power of absolute..... LAG T-T Give me Vulture, Gobby or Sandman, but not ELECTRO. Oh how horrible to fight electro in NYC park.
Wow yeah, so much web-swinging in Thanksgiving event! I've been giving FF Spidey some exercise instead of my usual leads, since there are SO MANY RINGS. Interesting change to have an event feature one type of gameplay more prominently. But really, Gameloft, you're aware of TWO serious glitches with the Vulture's attacks (they don't give near-misses, and they kill you from the side in the park environment) so you decide to give us an event where Vulture is the only boss??? Whose bright idea was that? I guess they just couldn't resist the bird-based Thanksgiving puns. And it looks like the new event has the common problem where all the players are grouped together on the leaderboard, instead of just 1000. My event's only been active for an hour and there are way too many people with scores over 2 million. I assume Gameloft will apply the usual fix where they scale the rewards proportionally. I'll still take him over Vulture!
I netted 2 silver medals during the Spider Girl event scoring 6.5 million a piece (ranked like near the bottom of the tier... I think 94 and 97). As the legendary cards have come out, they basically have pushed every tier's minimum scores up up up. Sadly, 11 million would have been a #1 a couple of weeks ago.
True. With all these players eager to get Legendary Cards. I wouldnt be surprised if these guys had 3-4 maxed out legends. and it does affect the people who dont get legends. I say in order for a person to keep up, one will be needing 3 epics man and at least 1 max out legend. But then againn, it still depends on skill.
Why do they keep doing boss events where you need to run for 6,000+ meters to reach the first boss?!!!
Howdy. This a bug the team is looking into. It seems to have popped up in other events, including the new Thanksgiving Event. The reward tiers will likely be adjusted again as they team continues to investigate the issue. I apologize for the inconvenience. I replied on the GL forums, but I'll post here so others know as well. Currently there are 48 slots with the final few costing 30 ISO-8 each. The team will be adding more slots in the future, as soon we will have over 40 Spider-Men in the game. Once I have more info it will be announced. Just following up on this - there was an issue where the leaderboards were not being cleared daily and previous scores were appearing by default. For anyone who hasn't already, you can contact Customer Care regarding missing rewards from the few days this issue occurred. The team found a fix and it should not happen again. @Jerutix - Well... maybe you saw that or maybe you didn't... Either way, Update 2 will bring in a new batch of abilities, so stay tuned! Specifically, the team is aware that Spider-Girl and Spider-Gwen have the same abilities, so they will be changed. I believe this was fixed the same day, but as you may have also noticed, the GL forums are now officially offline as they are being upgraded. The hiccup you previously experienced was an earlier stage of the process. The forums should be back online by the end of the week, hopefully. Hi, this is a known issue that is being investigated (ISO-8 value becomes negative). If you haven't already, please follow up again with Customer Care as they should be able to assist further (@Shaun - replying back to Gustavo or submitting a new ticket). They can reset the ISO-8 value which should put you back into the positive digits. If you'd like, let me know your ticket IDs. @Danz - Also for future reference, when it comes to game issues, it's best to directly contact Customer Care who have the tools to help rather than just post on the forums. This is another known issue that the team is investigating. Have you reached out to Customer Care yet for further assistance? Spider-Gwen, Superior Spider-Man, and Assassin Spider-Man will all have buff events in the future (with associated portals). There has been some tight scheduling these past weeks, so we weren't able to stick to the normal event schedule (New character release followed by a buff event). Things should be returning back to normal after Thanksgiving and then Update 2 will event introduce some new types of events. This week there is some overlap to the events! I've also been pushing this community feedback to the rest of the team, so the event schedules should bet getting a bit busier in the future. As previously mentioned, some new types of events are launching with Update 2, which I think players will enjoy. Stay tuned.
A bit disappointed at how they handled everyone getting bracketed together for the Thanksgiving event. Each bracket of 1000 had 5 Superiors as prizes, but with everyone together there's now 10? That only makes sense if the player base is 2000 players total per region/device. Since this is a time of gratitude, however, I will say that I'm pleased that the Superior portal will be back, that they plan to have more concurrent events running, and that new event types and abilities are in the pipeline!
Thanks for the update, Kyle! Especially glad to hear that Spider-Girl & Gwen will have different abilities in the future. Yeah, this is a bit unfair, and pretty disappointing. I hope they redo the tiers again to reflect the number of players.
Hi Kyle, thanks for the offer. I'm back in the positive now for ISO-8. The amount was apparently 25 ISO-8, and the only possible source I can imagine for where the game decided that wasn't legit was the 25 ISO-8 I was compensated from customer service for a prior issue. So, I hope you don't take it the wrong way if I decide to keep far away from customer service from now on, haha. My half-priced portals suddenly started appearing again, too, along with ISO-8 flash sales, which were also absent since Halloween. Now I'm just back to the old problem of pulling Vanilla Spidey after Vanilla Spidey. Still, I'm back playing again, a little. Very wary of actually putting any more money into the thing though.
The amount of Web Swinging in "Thanksgiving Throwdown" is ridiculous. I'm probably going to quit after the second prize.
Yeah, it's pretty bad. I'm hoping the next event is balanced better. I stopped at 7 bosses. After swinging for what feels like an eternity, they kept putting me against the boss in the Central Park area. Getting hit with lag spikes and that hit detection glitch at the same time had my blood pressure going through the roof.
It's the High Line Park, though Central Park would be an interesting area as well. The landmarks that I have seen in the game are: Washington Square Park (with the white triumphal arch monument) Queensboro Bridge (the bronze colored bridge that you web swing through the trusses) Flatiron Building (a unique looking triangular building, always on the left, when you web swing or fight the octo-mech boss) High Line Park (the lag filled, twisty-turny level where you die a lot... a lot.)
What if they mimic the idea of battling Doc Ock ontop of a moving train?! Oh no... Oh, and It would surely be awkward for Superior Spidey to battle 5 different versions of his robotic octopus self!
Oh! High Line Park! I'm so embarrassed. Lol Thank you. It's a cool looking area, but every time it comes up I can't help but have a sense of dread.
i'm with you -- I hate fighting the boss in High Line Park because Spidey runs off center in the lanes and even when you think you dodge an attack... you die.
Gah! Go away Electro! I HATE YOU. Seriously, his power to control the crappy lag is getting worse my soidey keeps on skipping time frames which "unintentionally" places his face in front of a wall, get killed by a shield drop, or electrified with that crappy electric wall. Dang, he has appeared in all of my runs! Its like the game is saying, hey, electro hates you. Well i hate him too! Sheesh
