Me too. I got one out of so many wasted iso and portals. Thats it. im gonna sit this one out, even on the spider gwen portal. By the time the buff event for superior comesback, as well as his portal, ill probably have earned more iso than i ever thought i could, which is probably 2 weeks from now.
Jeez, then I guess this is the most schizophrenic portal ever. I'm having such good luck with it now! I just did 5 more pulls to make sure I'd get my last Superior: 1 epic 2099 (sweet!), 2 rare Scarlet Reillys (meh), 1 epic Scarlet Kaine (woohoo! Last one I needed to max rank!), and finally 1 Superior. So, a legendary and 2 epics for 125 iso. I'll take it! I'm glad to hear that Superior and Spider-Gwen will get buff events in the future, though. Waiting for those definitely isn't a bad idea if you're more patient than I am and want to save your iso. I guess the Spider-Verse tie-in stuff just messed up their schedule? What do you think are the best-looking cards so far? I like 2099, classic Superior and Spider-Girl (too bad none of them have really useful skills).
True. Its just that I actually believe that you get more chance in the portals if you do it consecutively, not once in awhile cause of low iso-8 but I know that's not how it really works but then again, its better that way. Anyways, Spidey Cyborg had crappy abilities, something about 40% boss and xp +15% pfft. Same with Spiderwoman, 40% from boss, 1 combo from attacks, same as a maxed out cosmic spiderman which I actually have 4 of now, i dont if will use it though, since the superior portal kept giving me this, heck, it gave me a nother elctro proof, ow i only need 1 to max it out and im not sure if thats a good thing either.

To make myself feel a bit better, I think that while I got one Superior Spiderman, I realized that not all people has even received one from the portal and that I actually got the Superior Spidey on the first try. And as such I actually achieved more than I could, cause awhile ago, i got frustrated that I didnt get a 50 iso reward, so I thought about the game for about a minute, then did unlimited run, and voila, i beat my highscore without even using my 4th spidey. I only had 9 iso's left because you know, "portals" but heck with this, Imma earn more iso-8 now! TL;DR Think about the goodside
I had 8 more bosses to kill, for the 40 Kill reward in the last event. I had 19 minutes left before the event expired. I barely pulled it off. I killed myself as soon as I defeated boss #40, and the next event had just started. Close call, but I didn't want to miss out on 15 ISO. I had no interest in killing 80 bosses for the Event Portal. EDIT: I just finished the new Event "Amazing Assassin". I did it in one sitting so I wouldn't forget about it. There was no need to make it a 4 day event. It should have been 2 days max.
True, last night they released "accidentally" the other 2 spidey events, cyborg and spiderwoman, and I though that was the reason why they made it into 4 days, cause there were 3 events however they took the other two and left assassin spiderman while retaining the 4 days thingaloo. Does anyone know his abilities?
HA! I really am sitting these guys out. Anyone know when the buff event portal for sueperior might come and his portal too again? IM guessing that it will come after gwen's although I just need to be certain.
And as such, they took out Superior Spiderman. The moment it comes back, I'll be sure as heck to milk that dang portal. Unless in the span of 2 weeks, another cool legendary would be released then Im gonna have a hard time deciding again. Anyways, cause they took his portal away, I won't be tempted to spend the Iso-8 ill be receiving tomorrow. Phew.
Whats with this premium portal #2 floating in the forums? Its got legendary Spider-man which im willing to get provided, provided, that I actually get one. IN any case,it has 2 guys i need, spiderman epic and legend, and epic ff.
Gameloft_kyle will Superior's portal coincide with his buff event? Please confirm as im getting anxious earning iso-8 for nothing. And besides, his portal only lasted for 2-3 days which is abit unfair.
I shoot for 10-11M for a silver in the US on iOS. My best score ever is 11194281, good for 49th place on the all time list. To earn this with my team I bought all the consumable buffs and completed a "Great Run" ... Total cost 15-22 ISO-8 depending on deaths, plus the opportunity cost of 50 ISO-8 from the daily Bronze award, meaning a "guaranteed" Legendary runs me 65-72 ISO-8. It's worth it, except of course it isn't really guaranteed because when I spend all that on buffs I start to feel the pressure and have twice failed to complete a Great Run and earn a Silver, settling for the 50 ISO-8s and missing out on Spider-Gwen twice (I didn't realize we'd be left waiting for her event portal!!) The event portal gives you a three-star Legendary when you pull one, so that's clearly where you want to start building a Spidey whenever possible, but if you can earn Silver medals to complete all the rank-ups it seems worth it to me. I need one more Superior Spidey to be able to rank him up to max, then I "just" need to level him to 100 and add him to the roster (a Superior buff event multiplier will be a huge boost, so I hope we get that soonish). Until then, here's my current Unlimited lineup:
No competition: (Agreed RE: the skills... I don't mind Spider-Girl/Spider-Gwen as a late-in-the-roster play-it-safe character, but that's probably partly bias toward the character over their abilities. At least neither of them have 15%XP boost like 2099. Talk about useless!)

Aight. DAT Spider-gwen though. Gameloft_kyle said there would be another event to coincide with Assassin. Could it be gwen's buff event or one of the two voted spideys?
He said it would be released on monday, just not sure if that means like sunday night, legit monday or monday night.
Well, that cements my decision to not bother trying for silver. Eleven million? Ha ha ha; my best score so far is around six. Those legendary rewards sure are enticing, but I can count on one hand the number of great runs I've gotten in umlimited. (For some reason I find unlimited mode way harder than the events; not sure if it's the longer boss battles, or just psychological, or what.) And I'd also feel extra pressure if I'd spent iso on power-ups, so I'd probably play worse. I'm pretty happy if I can get 50 iso a day consistently, though. I'll be even happier once they update the portals and I can put it to good use. Hopefully we get a portal for Assassin Spidey at some point. Need... more... legendaries... Om nom nom.
I'm sitting next to an Android use who said this game is only taking up 106mb on his phone, but when I've got it fully installed it's over 400mb. Did he just not include downloaded data when he checked the size or is it really that much smaller on other phones? I'm currently on an iPhone 5S.
Remember when we used to have more than one event running at a time sometimes? lol I'm definitely enjoying the new Spideys and whatnot, but wjat happened to the variety of events? Doing some short simpler beginner friendly events with some of the more easily obtained vanilla Spider-Men seems like a no brainier, and we used to get those kinds of events. What changed?
