I have stopped getting the Daily half-price deal, for the 12 ISO Premium Portal, but I think I may have some insight as to why that may help others complaining of this issue. I was getting it every single day for the past few weeks. However, I have had an insanely frustrating run of bad luck with Premium Portals (many purchased at full price as well) where I literally pulled 5* classic Spidey 86% of the time in about a 2 week period (literally 31 of that Spidey in 36 tries!) I tried everything, but nothing changed the issue. So I decided as a last-ditch attempt to delete the game off my iPad and then download and install it again, since all my progress is stored in Gameloft's cloud. Since that time, I have NOT been offered the 1/2 price premium deal. That was Saturday, so I didn't get the deal Saturday, Sunday or last night, and I expect not to get it tonight. Here is my theory: Maybe the game doesn't offer the deal to very new players, and when you uninstall and reinstall, even though your progress is fully stored and restored, the game still somehow perceives you as a new player and you may have to wait some time before being offered it again. Again, this is just a supposition based on the fact that I was getting it literally every day, same time of the day, lie clockwork, until I deleted and re-installed.
I believe you are definitely on to something Chirovette. I deleted the game as well, and about a week and a half ago, I installed it again. Wasn't getting the daily deal. Then, a couple days ago, it started appearing again. Maybe, it takes a bout a week of game play for it to appear after a fresh install.
Never had a problem with the daily discount portal ever. But yeah, im always low on iso8 so sometimes i have ti discard it knowingly But anyways, i have 4 6* ben reilly scarlet spideys. Would you believe that, seems like that is all i get wheneevr i turn the daily portal, anywyays, good for me. Now, i am not interested in any 6* anylonger, only aim is at getting those 7*s
I got Spider-Girl, yeehaw! Unless they add Spider-Ham in a later update, I'm pretty much set for my favorite Spidey characters now.
I feel like there's a decent chance Peter Porker is coming, he's played a nice-sized role in the Spider-Verse stories so far, and would be a very fun addition (though maybe his size would make it hard for the devs to add him). I hope they add Daemos and the other Inheritors, but I expect the only event villain we'll get in the end is Morlun. I just want the satisfaction of letting Mayday punch the guy Spoiler who killed her parents right in the face. Repeatedly.
I've now been well over a week without getting the half price summon. I also don't see any summon options other than premium and regular, I.e no event or vip option. I'm pretty frustrated. Tried to contact support but got no answer.
I'm not sure than any of us have gotten the Event portal for Spider-Girl yet. Did you delete and re-install the app over a week ago when this started?
I haven't deleted the app at all since its release, and I stopped getting half-priced portals just before the Halloween event. I also didn't see the Battle-Damaged Event Portal until the final day it was up. Support has been mostly tone-deaf and unhelpful, though they did give me 25 ISO-8, which I suppose makes up for two days of missed half-price portals.
Spider-Gwen is here! And she's superior! (Although its a double-edged sword. Its good that she can give higher multipliers, but her event portal, dang, 50 iso?) Then there's the event for Morlun. Its for 5 days, probably because it's a boss event *defeat # bosses but the reward is epic spider-armor, which I don't really bother getting. The iso progress rewards are cheap, 1 iso for 1st boss, 2 iso for 9th boss. Then there's the event portal. Im not sure if it's for spidergirl since her event portal isnt out yet ALTHOUGH I am hoping that it's spidergwen's portal instead. Guess i should be earning 2.5 million evryday now. need to get that 50 iso daily!
I don't see the Spider Gwen event at all. Wondering why some people always seem to see the new events well before I do. It could be time zones, but perhaps it's the split in brackets between devices? The poster above references a 2.5 mil for 50 ISO bronze, which is a million below what I need to ensure the same rewards in my bracket. So maybe Android gets the events sooner than iOS? Would help them with server load to stagger the brackets, I'd imagine.
pretty sure its timezones and iOS vs Android. I am guessing I need around 3 million for the bronze medal and I am UK iOS.
Yeah, I'm in central US on iOS and need about 3.5 for bronze. It's going up, though, so I'm always shooting for 4 now. Also, I guess I'll spend all my ISO on Spider-Gwen's event portal. Maybe there was an upside to the Spider-Girl event portal never appearing.
What are Spider Gwen's bonuses? Because honestly, so far, none of the new characters are making my A-team. Spider Girl is weak sauce compared to most of the others.
My Spider-Girl Event Portal just popped up. I finally decided to use my 1-star SGirl card (earned from 6,000 combos) to finish off Issue 4. I was waiting to get a card with more stars before I did it, but finally decided, what the hey. As soon as I beat it, the Event Portal popped up. Not sure if it was directly correlated or not, but there we go. Of course, now that I know about the Legendary Spider-Gwen portal, I'm not spending anything on Spider-Girl's portal. I want a 7 star SGwen, and I want it now!!!
I spent 400 ISO-8 to build a full Spider-Girl (no regrets!) but I'm really hoping I find a way to build a full Spider-Gwen too... I have another 400 ISO-8 and should be able to get 50 more each day. So exciting and yet nerve wracking. I want them all!
Didn't make the 50 ISO-8 today. Gave up at 3.4 million because I was having bad runs. Guess I really needed that .1 On the upside, my free premium pull was a 6* Bulletproof, so now I have a 4/6 one of those!
Um, only 3 bosses in the first 30,000 meters of the new event? That's not really very friendly for completing the progress rewards, Gameloft. Does anyone know Spider-Gwen's abilities? (Hopefully better than Superior's.) I'm sitting at 3.47 right now; I don't know if I should try for a better run. Congrats on the epic Bulletproof!
