Yeah I just noticed that now, too. I completely agree. I really hope they change it back or at my level of play, there's simply no sense of urgency to get a half decent Unlimited Run. I don't score in the millions, ot enough to get lower than rank 999. Really, getting this daily premium portal was my only way of standing a chance of pulling or ranking up my 5 and 6 star Spideys.
I've slowed down with this game already. Definitely one of the best behind the back runners on the appstore today. It isnt perfect though, as the online-only requirement is a huge flaw for the game still, despite the fact that gameloft does weed out hackers consistently through that. Im basically just playing the unlimited modes a few times each day to guarantee myself 50 ISO-8, but other than that, i'm playing more of my backlog.
I've never cared for these games but this is quite awesome! I don't mind the online requirement if it weeds out hackers.
I ran into a nice sudden grey wall this morning while swinging. Nice variety in surprise deaths with this update!
The premium portal reward in daily is back but why is it hard to control the web slinging parts now? Its unresponsive, in fact, it requires me to tap the screen a lot just for a web to come out only for me to hit a flying obstacle. Please fix that.
Place high in the unlimited daily leaderboard. This is the best way. Finish in the top 1000, which means a run of around 3.5m from what others have said,and you get 50. Hit the Orange dudes when they appear in your first run of the day (between 1 & 3) Complete the side quests in the episodes. Complete stages on the tle's (if they have iso8 rewards) I think that's about the only way to earn it. There is no real 'farming' levels that will give you x iso8 per run.
By the way, does anyone know what determines how many gold enemies appear in that first run? I usually just see one; I've seen two a few times; I don't remember ever seeing three. Even when I survive a long time after killing the first one or two, no more ever appear.
This is great to know. I play on iOS (iPad) so not sure if my leaderboard levels are the same as yours. I know some platforms and areas are more or less competitive. I think I am just on the precipice of being able to sometimes get a 3.5 million score. My problem now is that I can;t get past the boss levels with the "invisible" objects with any kind of consistency. I still need to learn the new boss level. You know the one that twists and turns. But I think if Gameloft ever gets around to fixing the broken parts of the update, I may be able to Bronze on most days, with some ISO 8 restarts in the beginning, most probably. Don't forget all the Events. They are an awesome way of getting ISO 8.
Just luckily get 250 iso-8 today Is is worth to buy 2 last step of power-up(magnet,2x etc) and unlockables(15%vials&exp) Ps. VIP is gone, so sad
Welcome! In answer to the Orange dude question, I normally get 1 or 2. Around 60/40 to the one I would say. Only ever had one run with three! Guess I am a legend. @chirovette - think your a bit ahead of me now, my best is 2.4m but not 800k in unlimited. Just need to put a good run together. Also I am on ios ipad, and I think you'll be ok with less that 3.5, but someone a few pages back said that was a good target.
I may not be ahead of you, I honestly cannot tell. I keep dying by invisible obstacles, but for the first time, I seem to have a better than decent shot of getting to and beating the second bosses and sometimes the third (never got further). So I am not sure how far I can go at this point without this horrifying invisible-obstacles glitch. It may indeed be wishful thinking, but I have the feeling that I am close, like maybe a few weeks away (I hope!) of getting to the end of an Unlimited Run. Again, I have no idea how far I can go at this point, because I can usually never get further than the invisible obstacle. lol
Yeah, tell me about it!! I sent in a ticket for this, and I REALLY hope this guy is removed from the leaderboard before the event ends in 8+ hours or I am going to end up in 6th place (with 5 ISO 8) instead of 5th (with 50 ISO 8)!!
