That makes sense, I miss that setup. I wish I had any chance at top 9... Oh well Right now the number one spot is someone who ran a Mangaverse Spidey. Probably because his max level is a 20. Why do I not believe he legitimately scored 15M points?
Since game is dropping in the charts i wonder if they consider removing timers or reducing crystal prices. I love this game but i wish i could play it more.
Hi Gameloft_Kyle, was there ever any update on some kind of rollout compensation for all the players who never received their event portal rewards? It's been a few days; I hope Gameloft acknowledges the issue. I'd still recommend dropping a Big Time Spidey in everyone's team roster; I think that would be a nice gesture after all the waiting and confusion. And the premium portal is has indeed been much more generous lately! Since the update, I think over half my pulls have been epics. I'm running out of iso-8 buying team slots to store them; now I actually need more vanilla 5-stars as rank-up fodder, ha ha! Anyways, thanks for listening to our feedback and implementing the change so quickly. I really appreciate it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
Hi, definitely. Whenever I see new suggestions or ideas in this thread or on other social channels I forward them along. The team is currently working on some card system evolution improvements that will rollout over the next few updates, so stay tuned for that as well. Plus, a discard feature is coming in Update 1, which should help players free up their slots if they choose. The team was investigating the numerous Event issues throughout the week. It came down to faulty configurations that slipped through testing before being made live. Unfortunately, once the event and portal were activated minimal changes could be made. They identified the various issues and are now taking preventive measures to ensure it doesn't happen again. For those of you who did miss out on your Event Portal, especially those from the Progression Reward, I would recommend reporting this to Customer Care and they will assist. I do apologize for the inconvenience of these recent issues. I'll check with the team on Monday to see if they had any compensation planned and also suggest a few things, since many players were affected. Also, glad you're enjoying the new portals so far!
Might finally be getting good at this game! I have completed several of the events this week, charting a bit higher... Still not in the medals but closer! Also just had my best run for combos, 190 something Still having fun playing it so that's the main thing
Hey guys! Just wondering, I recently bought ISO when it was on sale, and now I have the premium portal available for 100. My question would be do you guys find this pull to be worth it or overpriced?
It's great if you're very low on free slots and have lots of useless blues filling them up. It really depends on where you are... If you still need lots of blues to round out your team with level 70s then premium and event portals are probably your better bet. You tend to get purples with two or three stars already, so it can be very nice, and I don't regret the times I've spent the ISO-8 on that portal.
okay, so right now I only have 2 6 stars, bulletproof and scarlet, and they are both 1 star and i was wondering if i should be focusing on leveling them. It sounds like you are saying that i should save that ISO to rank up the blues that i have? I have a lot of low rank blues.
Exactly, you'll earn a lot more ISO-8 with the Spidey's you'll get from A) Daily Deal Premium portal every day, B) bronze award from daily leaderboard, and C) progression awards from events, and then D) spending excess ISO-8 on premium/event portals and E) in the shop for permanent buff duration upgrades (web fists, shield, 2x multiplier) and even F) more Spidey Slots on your team. The VIP portal is great, but if you start going to it too early I think you'll get stuck in a rut.
okay cool, i will wait on that, makes sense since the best case scenario i get another 6 star i have an rank up once. How did you go about building a balanced team? I have so many 5 stars that i cant rank up because i dont have their duplicate, are these worth keeping if you have their 6 star?
Many people choose to only keep the rarest version of a Spidey. I figure it's worth buying slots and building up a blue version even if I'm also working on a purple version. Right now I have a level 90 purple and a level 70 blue version each of both Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) and vanilla Spider-Man, so when events using those Spider-Men come along I have a ridiculous multiplier. But both strategies are fine, it really depends on how many extra slots you want to buy and how many extra Spider-Men you want to keep around. (At this point I've dumped all gray and green Spideys from my roster, farming up greens with the standard portal if I need to rank up a blue. I have basically unlimited vials since I bought everything that can be bought with them already. But I'm glad I leveled up one of each of the greens early on, it helped me get to where I am now. And if an event comes around requiring, say, Spider-Man Noir, I'll farm and rank up a new one.)
Okay, I've now had the same daily goals for 4 days straight: collect 500 vials, get 85 combos, and get a new high score in unlimited. It's getting really annoying, since I can't beat my score every day, so I'm missing out on what should be easy iso-8. Kyle, can you ask the team to please reset the goals each day??? If they're random, I shouldn't see the exact same ones 4 days in a row; that's too much to be a coincidence. Is anyone else having this problem?
Finally got a Scarlet Spidey (Kaine)! And on a free VIP pull, no less. So that was awesome! Does anyone know why you could get free VIP portals from time to time. This is my third one. The first one was right after I unlocked the portal, but I'm not sure what two and three were. I've bought an ISO-8 pack twice, which is what I thought it was, but this third one has me rethinking it. Of course, I'll take it!
Not sure either, but my last free VIP pull was my 4th i believe. It may be influenced by the number of Premium Portal pulls coz everytime i get a free VIP pull, it's right after i used a premium portal.
Yup. After you've done a full rotation of the daily goals, it seems this exact same set becomes more common. It is annoying coz it's pretty difficult to get that measly 3 ISO-8 now.
That sounds right. I had just claimed a Premium Portal when it popped up. Doubt I'll be disciplined enough to count to the next one, though.
