seems like some players have the event portals up? I am from australia and currently there is no tap for event portal. Still only the standard,VIP and Premium portal in the recruit screen. I tried restarting the game, restart my phone several times but nothing happened. How did you guys get the event portal?
Here's an idea: wouldn't it be cool if, with every Spider-Man card, you'd get not only the description when you click the question mark... but also the comic page showing the first appearance of that character, as well as the cover of the issue where this appearance happened?
I think the half price offer goes to your inbox, and the gems get taken out then. You have to then go to the inbox to claim the reward, it should then appear as a free portal pull. Not sure if that is what you have done but it charged 25... If so then probably put a support ticket in
I just fuse two 1* Big Time(both obtain from event) yesterday and get another Big Time (since him come from portal,he was already 2*) So sadddddddd
Aww yeah, used my Event Portal for today and got another friggin five star regular Spider-Man I'm taking three-point-nine of those stars back, Kyle! :shakes fist
From 6 pulls from the normal portal I have had; 4 3 star regular spidey's and a 4 star regular. At least for me it's only vials I am loosing...
Haven't seen an event portal in the recruit section for maybe a week now. This cost me the progress reward event portal from the last event, and I can't use the one I've won as a daily reward two days ago. Since a lot of players here can see an event portal, but quite a few can't, I wonder whether this is geographical problem, or a question of which phone model you use, or ... I actually do love this game, but the portal (and some other) issues are definitely starting to bug me.
Yeah I am still waiting for the Event Portal from the previous Event, though thankfully I did get the Big Time (Sonic) Spidey!
Think of it like a lock and key system. You earn an a reward (EventPortalClaim_X) and it only works on Event Portal X. The following week you may still have your reward, but Event Portal Y is now live, but only EventPortClaim_Y will work with it. Some parameters in the game are setup geographically. Phone models shouldn't have anything to do with it. I'll double check with the team and have them look into why you (and others) are not seeing the Event Portal in your regions. Sorry for the delay!
Um, I currently have 8 event portal rewards sitting in my inbox, since I've been saving them for Spidey 2099 (the coolest Spider-Man design, in my my opinion). If I can't use them, I will be quite displeased, since there was never any "time limit" given for inbox messages or rewards. An event portal reward should be valid for any event portal. I certainly expect the rewards I've earned; that's the equivalent of 200 ISO-8 right there.
If you try to redeem them and it doesn't work, put in a help request and hopefully customer care can give you the new event portals. But it seems clear moving forward that it's a bad idea to intentionally hoard event portals (pretty sure premium portals are still safe? But maybe not now that they added all the new Spideys?) BTW I agree, I LOVE Spider-Man 2099. Been reading the new Peter David series and eagerly awaiting his arrival in-game.
Yup, he's been my most-wanted Spidey since the game started. Hope he has good skills (+1 for attacks and rings would be perfect; don't think there's any card for that yet). If I can't redeem the portal rewards, that might be the last straw. The frequent reward glitches are just too frustrating and disappointing. I hope Gameloft can sort out the issues, because I really like the game; it has so much great content (the mechtopus is just too cool) and the frequent updates with new Spideys and villains are awesome.
Just made another "Great Run" in order to get into the 10-99 bracket and I gotta say, this game is becoming frustrating... It was fun having to score that high (5.5m+) occasionally in order to get the gold medal, but now I feel like I HAVE to do it every day in order to keep up with the game. There's no more feeling of "ooh cool, I scored 3m!", no, now if I score below 5.4m it's like I just wasted 15-20 mins of my time. And since I need to go that high, tagging along a lower lvl spidey in order to level him is out of the question. Another thing to note is the people at the top, scoring 16m with a maximum level of 70... yeah, right.
^Yeah... Getting high up on the daily rankings has become a chore. Today i really wanted to get in on the top 9 to get a spider-man 2099, so i tried real hard having activated the +25% consumable and a great run with a couple combos over 400 (revived once which broke the combos), only to fall short while ranked at number 11. And the differences are only a few thousands in between the top scores. Oh well... It's not like 50 ISO8 is the worst reward for the 8 ISO8 i spent to reach that score.
1 + 2 + 4 = 7 lol Just busting your balls because I am nowhere near your level of skill at this game. My highest ranked Spidey is a 4 star at level 50 and my highest sarting multiplier is 15X. Plus I still can't get past more than one boss in a run.
Contact Gameloft support and state your case. They handled it nicely last time I tried after a glitch.
