They occasionally give them out for free if you've bought any ISO packs, I think I've gotten 3 so far
If you stock up 5 energy refills from friends and use them all at once it will reset the timer and make it go back to 10 minutes
Thank you, Gameloft for creating one of the most entertaining runners for my iPad, with the beloved Spidey. Also, thank you for promptly ignoring my tickets. I counted losing 5 or 6 premium/event portals that never got delivered to me. If my math is right, that is about 20 Euro worth of the currency. I made a mistake of initially paying for some crystals, but with that quality of service, I will make sure I never do it again. How bad of a designer do you have to be to come up with a reward in a form of a portal that doesn't exist? Joke on me, I guess.
Ugh! Okay, I just finished the 50K Vials for the current event and was told I won a Big Time Spider-Man (Sonic) but as with the regular event portal for 20K, I didn't get that one either. There was a "1" in my inbox briefly, but when I went to my inbox the 1 was gone and no Sonic/Big Time in either my inbox or my Recruit screen. Hopefully this gets fixed soon and is retroactive when it does.
Dont worry. All of you or rather should i say pretty much everyone who has hit the 20k mark in the event will get the event portal once activated. It is never lost, happened three times before to me and i always got it. Just dont worry, now, the only thing we need to wait for is that when the event portal will be activated. Plus, spidey card rewards are always delivered straight to the team, not in inbox, until or unless your team is completely filled and there is no space.
Cool! Well the important thing is that I got my third 6-Star Spidey. The Event portal is, what? Like a 3 star? I can get tons of them for 2.5K vials if I want them. So even if I did lose that one, oh well. I am a new player, and have used all my 3 star Spideys and most of my 4 stars as fodder for ranking up and leveling up better cards. Though is would be nice if the event portal is a 4 star I can use as fodder to rank up a 5 star card, right?
I think event portals do fetch 4 star spideys. But to be honest, my reliant method to gathering good spideys is patience. 2 rare spideys a day, sometimes more if thee are events with portals, otherwise just two a day - the 12 ios8 slashed down price one and the one as amdaily reward from the unlimiteds.
Not sure I follow all this. Let me see how much I am getting: You said that you get offered two Rare Spidey's a day for half price (12 ISO 8 each)? Because thus far I only seem to be able to count on one per day. As for reward from Unlimited forget it! My scores are nowhere near high enough. Plus my highest ranked Spidey is a fully upgraded four Star Spider Armor. All my five and six star Spideys are stuck at one or two stars because I only got ONE duplicate so far, which was two 5 star Battle Damaged Spideys, which I used to upgrade one of them. Then I have my rare 6 star Scarlet Spider, which came to me with 2 stars. Other than that, since I haven't pulled any duplicate 5 and 6 star Spideys, I am stuck with 6 of the 5 star Spideys and 3 of the 6 all at very low levels. So my highest multiplier right now I can get is 14X when I put my maxed out 4 star Iron Spider in the first slot, then Scarlet in another slot and Ben Riley in the other (I also haven't unlocked the final tag team slot). Oh and I am rapidly running out of ISO 8. I am about 25% through issue 6 and only have like 31. I keep doing the goals to get 3 plus killing the gold enemy for 1 more. But unless Gamesloft seriously lowers the price of their IAP, I'm afraid I am going to run out of the ability to pull the 1/2 Price rare every day.
It's easy enough to save up if you're often getting 25-50 ISO-8 from event/daily awards. I'm not exactly sure why everyone insists on trying to convert ISO-8 prices to their "if I bought the ISO-8" equivalents. It's pretty clear that ISO-8 is overpriced beyond most reason in this game so that even people who spend lots of money still don't gain much of an advantage over those who just play and get good at it. I don't think the game is balanced around buying ISO-8... and that's a GREAT thing! The VIP Portal is an option for those of us who have too many blues and lots of ways of earning ISO-8, and I guess for the super rich to whom hundreds of dollars is what they spend on their morning toilet paper. If that doesn't describe you then it's fine. It's not for you, keep buying Standard/Premium Portals and improving until one day it could be you.
No, he just gets the Daily Deal once a day. Plus if you play in the Daily Unlimited Leaderboard, and place in the top 10,000, you'll get either a Premium or an Event portal. Right now it's bugged so you get nothing (right away) because you're supposed to get an Event portal and those don't exist... but normally you can get one from the daily leaderboard and one from the Daily Deal if you have ISO-8 saved up. You can get 3 ISO-8 from the daily goals, another 1-3 from killing golden enemies each day, and usually 3-15 or so from progression awards within an event, plus earn some from the three issues if you haven't 100%'d those yet. Maybe that's not enough that you can open a Daily Deal portal every single day, but most days you can probably have enough as long as you do all those things. For a while the top 1,000 unlimited players were earning daily awards of 25-50 ISO-8 instead of a portal, and that was a great source of ISO-8 to replenish your stock for the Daily Deals... I hope that comes back soon.
Hey gameloft_kyle heres a bug for you to test. Today I claimed my premium portal from the daily leaderboard, then without changing screens I also claimed my free standard daily portal in that order. Then when I went to the recruit screen all I have is 1 standard portal ..... There goes my chance of getting yet Another vanilla rare Spider-Man lol..... Edit: oh wait a sec dafalcon said the prize is the event portal? Not premium? Then my mistake, I guess it's not there because we don't have an event portal atm. And I thought I lost a vanilla rare spidey
But I do not have any friends - another way to fix this? I am so stuck - waiting 35 hours for 1 Life!!!! Gahhh
You can buy a Spidey Energy refill for 3 ISO-8 which I assume would work, but I wouldn't do that. You can add any player from any leaderboard as a friend and then when they accept you can request energy from them. I have said it before, but maybe it bears repeating: I have over 500 energy in my inbox from this method and it took very little time to add the friends (scrolling past all the energy to send energy to friends who request it, on the other hand, has consumed significantly more time... Hope a fix for this is in the works).
There really is no need to have a million friends. I think I added about 50 or 100 since starting the game. Since you are limited to only sending out 5 requests for energy per day, having a crapload of friends unnecessary. I like to play the good Karma card and literally the first thing I do when I see my inbox has requests for energy is send that out even before starting my play. Right now I have about 17 energy's in my mail box, and I have decided to start stockpiling them. The only problem I am having is that I am starting to get a little bored of the game, even though I like infinite run games like Subway Surfers, and am a huge Spidey fan. You would think that SM Unlimited would be the perfect marriage of a swipe-runner and Spider-Man for me, but I am not sure how much longer I am going to be playing this. I am really trying to hang in there, though! lol
Sonic spidey event come up Some(electroproof end of earth etc.) come to premium Event portal has no 6* normal 6* electroproof and cosmic VIP portal open for everyone ....20,000 vials reward still doesn't come out
Oh man. Prepare to get ten thousand complaints, Gameloft. The event portal is finally up, and the free portal progress reward is not showing up. I actually feel sorry for customer service at this point. I think to save them from dealing with an endless stream of complaints from EVERYONE who completed the third progress reward, I'd echo the earlier suggestion that you just deliver a free Big Time Spidey to everyone's team roster. That would probably be the simplest solution at this point.
Yes, Make it a sonic spidey/bug time and i will be happy. On that note, i only received 2 against the 3 event portsls which i had won Lost one, any chane i may get that back. Halp kyle!
I'm still not seeing the event portal in my recruitment screen. Just the VIP portal, premium, and standard.
