Hi, I have a specific question for Gameloft_Kyle (or anyone else): I have two epic Scarlet Spiders (woohoo!) and they're both at rank two. I want to fuse one to rank up, but the screen shows that I'll only receive one more star/rank. If you fuse a rank-2 card to another rank-2 card, shouldn't you get 2 more ranks? It's such a rare card that I don't want to waste it, so I thought I'd check first; thanks! PS. The game is awesome, by the way. Can't wait for 2099 and black suit Spidey!
I hate having to wait over a week for my tokens to come back. What happened to waiting ten minutes per token ? People have spoken about this bug in this thread but the problem has not yet been fixed.
I agree 100%. Developers absolutely can and should implement IAP's, microtransactions, or whatever you want to call them, when they make free games, but for some reason, so many of them do so in a way that is categorically insulting to the intelligence of any thinking person. But some, like Kiloo (Subway Surfers) while their consumables are ridiculously priced, and I would NEVER EVER buy coins and keys from them, they also offer things like Double Coins Forever for $1.99. Some devs will offer to take the energy timer away for $3 to $5.00. Some apps allow you to pay a dollar or two to remove ads. These all seem fair. But then you charge real money for electronic items, or consumables as we call them, it is incumbent on the developer to at least try to give a good value. Otherwise any thinking person will be put off and insulted by the attempt to route the customer. Take me, for example. I make a very good living. I could easily afford to pay them $99.99 if I chose. But if I did, I would feel like I was too stupid to live. Very often I spend more for lunch at work than $20.00, but at least I am getting real food and sustenance. What do you get for 20 bucks from Gamesloft in this game? Just over 100 imaginary crystals and a few little perks. Its insulting, not just a rip-off. Makes me feel like someone over there is LAUGHING whenever a gamer, jonesing for some imaginary crystals pulls the trigger on the purchase. tl;dr: I expect to pay real money for consumables in a free game. Its how developers make their living. And I get that all you really have to offer, long terms, is consumables and I am okay with that. But I at least expect to get some actual VALUE for my money.
Hi, this sounds like somehow during re-install your age got switched to below 13. Some features including the social aspects (friends/social media) are disabled for children. You'll need to contact Customer Care and they can assist you with fixing this. *Side note: Still investigating the crashing issue from last night, stay tuned for an update.
Can't he just uninstall then reinstall the game? I have done that several times, trying to restart the game from zero, in other words create a brand new save where I DON'T piss away a to of ISO 8 early on because I didn't know any better. Anyway, every time I reinstalled the game after a delete/uninstall, the game asked me for my age. By the way, PLEASE address the concerns of so many of us in this thread regarding he insane (well what we consider insane, anyway) prices for your IAP ISO 8 purchases.
Still waiting for any of the above issues to be resolved. None whatsoever. Have made two tickets so far- one made three days back and another made around 12 hrs back. As for the energy timer, i have recvd only 4 from friends so far and need one more, sadly, an entire day has gone and have not recvd the fifth. Waste of an entire day
Yes, a re-install should prompt for his age again which could fix the issue too. The team is looking into adding a "reset" progress option, but currently contacting Customer Care is the best option to reset your progress with a fresh save. I'll definitely pass along the feedback regarding IAP prices. 1) 26 ios8 lost suddenly - The team is working on a fix for this issue. Can you confirm if you have updated to the latest hotfix? 2) event portal reward not received, even though i cleared the milestone - Can you please let me know what type of device you play on and also your region/location? Also, this is for the current "Firm Foundation" event, right? 3) premium portal from the unlimited event not received, instead i received 5 ios8?!? - This is part of the crashing issue from last night. The team is investigating both the crashing and associated reward issues. 4) my energy timer has been reset to 9 days. - Did you by chance reset your device or turn it on/off again during the crashing issue? This may have caused the abnormal timer bug. A temp fix if you are at 0 energy is to claim 5 energy gifts from your inbox all at once (or contact Customer Care). This should refill your tokens and reset the timer. A proper fix will be included in update 1. Please stay turned for a reply from Customer Care. If you received an automatic reply with a ticket number that means you are in the system. Please also keep an eye out in your spam folder for a reply.
Thanks, Gameloft_Kyle! I think I found a glitch, or is it an update in progress? I am connected to the servers online, and in fact, just sent out five requests for energy. However, there is a lock icon on the "Events" button and it says "0 Active" where a few minutes ago I had a two day event active. Any idea what's going on? Thanks!
This seems to happen if your internet connect becomes a bit unstable or is not strong enough at the moment. Alternatively, we've seen this be an issue on WiFi where firewall settings blocked some connection to the servers, but not everything. :/ After double checking your connection and force-quitting/re-launching the game, I'd suggest letting it sync on the home screen for moment to connect to the severs. The button should unlock then. If not, let me know.
Guess I owe an apology to you Kyle, thanks for being active about this issue. If it's not a prob, can you tell me if you know anything about the missing VIP portal issue? I made a thread on your forums and sent a few tickets to Customer Care, but still nothing. It's getting a bit frustrating since all I get from regular portals are regular 5* spideys. :/
Thanks, Kyle! I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else, but I was given two event portals when I opened up the game this morning! I don't think I did anything to specifically earn them, so I was pretty pumped!
I'm guessing these were the missing ranking portals for the past few days. There were two days that everyone who got bronze rank got the medal but not an event portal (not including the 5iso reward day). I could be wrong, but I got them as well and that's what I assumed they were.
That's terrible... I have an open ticket, but so far all I've received is the standard "restart your phone and router, make sure nobody else is using your network" response that always seems to be standard regardless of what the issue actually is.
Kyle since you seem to be active on here, has there been any discussion about expanding the brackets? As the game stands now there's very little incentive to push yourself, especially in events since the brackets are so small. For example, right now the only "good" ranking prizes in the current event is for the top 20, everything below that is pretty mediocre/worthless. No one really cares about standard portals once you get a team of rare/epic spideys and vials are quickly becoming worthless as well. In order to get in the top 20 in my bracket you need a minimum score of 2 million and that's just on day 1 of the event, those scores are sure to go up. Pretty much the only way to get consistently high scores like that is to have the event multiplier...which comes from ranking high on the free run daily event. Lately it seems like I work on getting the progress rewards for an event, and then ignore the event in favor of doing other things because without being able to stack event multipliers it's not even worth trying.
