Too bad I couldn't trade you my 8 vanilla spideys.

Speaking of which... I finally got something different today after complaining - Spidey-Armor. Now I have two maxed 5 star cards. Yay!

Is there some kind of a walkthrough for gameplay on this title? I can't seem to get good enough at this game to get past the harder levels or get more than a minute or two into the Unlimited mode. I'm obviously not very good at the game, that much is apparent. But I am seriously ready to just give up on it if I can't.

What happens is that things just come at me way too fast and furious to dodge or kill everything. I think my high is a laughable 21K.

I had a couple of Spideys leveled up to around 22 and 20, but I ended up losing them somehow. I had 11 Spideys on my team and somehow when I leveled up, because I completely don't get the whole cards and duplicate system, I somehow ended up with TWO Spideys all at pretty low levels, where I had a bunch over level 10, not only one Spidey is level 10 and the rest are very low. I was stuck for the longest time on Goblin's Wrath, I think the final level of Issue? But now I can't even play that because I lost all my Spideys over level 20! lol

I completely don't get this game at all and obviously I screwed myself out of a whole bunch of my team members. That combined with a lot of ignorant early use of all my ISO 8, has left me with 5.

It says both, but the purple one is bugged because it says x0 multiplier. I got both and it really is x0 with the purple one lol.
    Blue one works tho.

About the game itself. When you play enough times you should notice that the obstacles have a pattern and they sort of repeat themselves.
When you can see the pattern it should be slightly easier and you should be doing better.

As for the cards ranking up thing look in this thread we have explained it multiple times I think.

Both blue and purple. Blue is a x4, and currently, Purple's visual is glitched which shows a x0, but from what i've seen, an epic should be a x5.

It sounds like you merged your better Spider-Men into other ones by mistake. I find that the selection of cards to use for leveling and ranking up is terrible. It selects cards by mistake when you try scrolling through your list.

Since you're still on issue 1, and you said you wasted ISO-8 early on, maybe consider deleting and redownloading the app. A fresh start could get you on the right track, especially after you read Shaun's guide someone linked to before.

    My own personal tips:
-Don't upgrade cards that have better versions (like the 3-star Spider-Man).
-Log in daily for a free portal (which then adds up to a free premium portal).
-Don't play the unlimited mode, but rather focus on the event runs.
-Don't spend ISO-8 on things you can get with vials or just by playing a reasonable amount of time (like the second Spider-Man slot for the multiplier bonus)

Also, I never buy the single-use power-ups. I don't know about other people, but I find those useless most of the time. I think every time I use one in any other game, I end up dying quickly.

I read the whole thread, and the ranking up was touched on many times, probably explained in a manner that people familiar with games like this even understand, but I don't get it. I am the type of gamer who usually plays sandbox games (GTA, Saint's Row, Just Cause 2, the sandbox Spidey games) and other games on the Playstation, Xbox, and PC. I tried ranking up a couple of times and ended up losing almost all my Spideys due to my own ignorance of the concept, and this was after reading the thread.

I just don't seem to be getting the concept of cards, ranking up, leveling up (actually I think it was the leveling up that lost me my Spideys lol).

I get the concept of the running and winning events...um, sort of. I am up to a whopping 6 ISO 8 and will have another three when I complete the "20 runs" currently in my goals list. I think I am at 12 now.

I made a HUGE mistake in the first day or two of playing (I have only been playing this game a few days) where I spent ISO 8 stupidly on continuing runs. I think I may have used some for a Spidey or a portal? Not sure. I do know the game is asking me for 25 ISO 8 to "rank up" and 8 to bring a Premium Spidey into my game.

I don't quite get why I would fuse my Spideys together? What is the advantage? It seems like you only lose as I lost like 10 of my previous 11, and now somehow (due to some pulls with vials) I am up to 8 again, with two empty slots and the game asking me for 8 to open another.

Hahahaha I am sooooooo confused!

Not sure how to define which ones are better. You mean more stars?

When reading the thread over, someone here, maybe a few people, complained that deleting your save and reinstalling ended up putting back the original game. I think there is some kind of a cloud with this game that stores your info and data? Not sure, though.

When you say better versions, you mean, like say a Spidey that is 3 stars but has the same name and costume as a 4 or 5 star Spidey? If so, you mean don't pay to rank or level them up?

Not sure what a free portal means. I am guessing you mean a free pull of a Spidey from another dimension? If so what do you mean "it adds up to a free premium portal?"

No problem, but the event runs are CRAZY! The one I have up now is asking for 15,000 combos in two days. Youch! I think I may have done other events, but I'm not sure.

Check! For the moment, with only 6 ISO 8 in my inventory, I am not looking to spend it on anything! lol

Going back to one of your firs points, is there a way to start from scratch? Or will deleting just get me reloaded with my current save data as people have mentioned here?

Also, how in the name of all that is holy, can I pass the Goblin's Wrath (I think the final mission in Issue 1, which I am at 95% on presently)? I must have tried that 50 times and got nowhere! Crap just comes at me waaaay too fast!

Also, I never buy the single-use power-ups. I don't know about other people, but I find those useless most of the time. I think every time I use one in any other game, I end up dying quickly.

More stars means it's not only more rare, but it also has a higher max level. The 3-star Spider-Man has a max level of 30, but a 4-star Spider-Man can go up to level 50. I pulled a 6-star Bulletproof Spider-Armor yesterday, and that can be leveled up to 90.

The stars show how many times it can be ranked up, and the stars in yellow show its current rank. My Spider-Man Noir has four stars, but I've only ranked it up to 3 so far. That means it has a max level of 50, but I can only go up to 30 at the moment unless I rank it up again to fill in that last star.

You level up Spider-Men by playing and getting experience points. That's the way most people expect it to work. In a lot of free-2-play games like this, there's another way to level up, and that's by absorbing/merging cards/characters into the one you want to level up. This makes it so when you pull a 3-star Spider-Man that you definitely don't need, you can still make it slightly useful by merging it into another one of your cards.

You rank up by selecting your Spider-Man you want, and then selecting a few more cards to facilitate the process as a catalyst. This game requires you to have a duplicate card and two other cards. For example, back to my Spider-Man Noir, I need another Spider-Man Noir card, and two other cards (I would use crappy 3-star cards I don't need). That duplicate and the other two cards would be absorbed into the base card, and disappear from my collection/team.

As you might see from this, ranking up the 5- and 6-star cards is a huge pain in the ass because you need to have a duplicate of that rare card to even do it. The Bulletproof Spider-Armor I mentioned before will likely sit at level 20 for a long time before I ever get a duplicate in order to rank it up.

You can also skip that duplicate card nonsense by just straight up paying ISO-8. I think the cost varies depending on the rank, but it's an option at least.

Dang, I didn't know that. Smart move on the developer's part, but too bad for users in your position.

Yeah, this game calls it a portal. Puzzle & Dragons uses a gum ball machine thing, and other games call it "summoning."

Every day you log in, you get a free pull from another dimension. If you log in something like 10 days in a row (I actually don't know if it has to be in a row, or just 10 total), you will get a free pull from the premium portal. That's where you get higher-ranking Spider-Man cards. Then, the next day, you'll start the process over with getting free regular pulls.

The standard portals cost something like 2500 vials, but the premium ones cost a bunch of ISO-8. Getting a free premium pull every 10 days is a nice bonus.

Another thing to mention about the premium portals is that once per day, you will get a pop-up message about a half-price premium portal. You only get one a day, but if you have the ISO-8, it's totally worth it. It might not give you the offer if you don't have enough ISO-8, though.

Yeah, I don't bother with trying to get that many combos. Usually, I can get the first two goals in the event runs, and I'm happy with that. With the one you're talking about, I only have 87 combos so far, so I haven't even earned the first reward (500 vials).

However, the other current event, The Future Is Now, has easier goals. I'm over halfway to the second reward, and there's still 3 days left. Personally, I think it's entirely possible that I'll hit 20,000 vials to get the third reward by the time it's over. In total, that'll get me 8 ISO-8. You could go crazy trying to rank high on the event leaderboards, so I don't even bother.

Well given how short I am of ISO 8 (I not have 9) I will save them for the important stuff you also described using it for, thanks!

Not sure why its good for the devs. I don't see how it would make a difference to them if someone wants to start over. Oh, and I just confirmed this: I deleted the game and reloaded it. The game kept asking me if I wanted to load my previous save data. So I tried force-closing the app whenever I got the prompt, because the game won't let you out of it without clicking the button to load the previous save data. Finally, I was able to click start before getting the button and thought I was home free because the game let me play the first level an even beat up on the Goblin at the end. But alas, when it was over, I couldn't escape reloading the previous save data. Too bad. I was looking forward to starting again.

    Great info, thanks!

Yeah, I guess I will wait for the ten days to get the premium. I really am loathe to spend any ISO 8.

When I have a premium Spidey, I will try this.

I don't have that event. All I have is the one called "Charging Up."

Could it be because I haven't finished the first issue yet? I simply cannot get past the Goblin's Wrath. Though now I can't even play it because I have no level 20+ Spideys. lol

You know if I was better at this game, I mean to the point where I could actually do decent runs, I would pay for some ISO 8 just to play catch up. Honestly, the real cash price is a little STUPID. $99.99 for 750? lol Really? I would pay them $10.00 for a few hundred, but NOT for 50. Again, that is assuming I get good enough at this game that paying real money is even worth it. As it is now, days and days of playing, and I just can't get the timing of the harder segments. The indoor parts are utter madness when they start putting you up on those planks and crap starts popping up to ceiling level from the ground.

Just way too much swiping way too fast. I am used to Subway Surfers which, to be frank, is child's play compared to this game. This game I can't seem to get the timing of the more difficult sections of all the harder or infinite run levels.

If I could, I might consider waiting for some ISO 8 sale in the iTunes store, assuming they have them.

    As a free player
I try buying many slot as i can
So if i want to directly upgrade, i can use it at first rank to decrease iso8 used.

    I think it just random
it pop-up whenever it want, even when i have 0 iso

    For someone who want ranking
, store event spiderman as many as you can is a good idea
Now i have 3 electroproof spiderman and they give me x36 score bonus with only lvl10

Finally pulled an Epic Scarlet Spidey! I was convinced there was some sort of conspiracy against me, everything I was pulling was the ordinary, run of the mill Spidey. I know from reading I'm not the only one. Not being able to rank him up? Highly unlikely... Still enjoying the hell out of this game and just reading what others have written has tought me lots that I didn't know. See, the Internet can be used for things other than porn!

I was surprised to see Issue 3 available. I'm not sure why I even checked, but I'm glad I did.
