Each costume in each portal has their own chance of being pulled. The chances arent split across the board.
I finally pulled a Last Stand and Noir Spider-Man yesterday, and I ended up spending most of my vials and ISO-8 on portals and expanding my team slots. Now that I have a slightly better understanding of the events, and progression, I'm liking the game more than before. I do wish there was more focus on swinging over running, but what can you do? Imagine if during the swinging parts, you also had to swipe left and right to avoid stuff. Or if during the swinging parts, you could also run along the walls of buildings. EDIT: Just after I posted this, I got the half-price premium portal, and pulled a 6-star Bulletproof Spider-Man, already ranked up to the second star. Who knows if I'll ever pull another so I can rank him up further, but it's still pretty sweet!
Yeah, but I feel that vanilla rare Spidey didn't have such a huge chance in the past (and that he can't maintain this moving forward... Got another one from my daily login premium portal award.) I think I might start banking Portal pulls like I do with free Spidey Energy, at least for a while. I've been buying slots to hold these hoping they'll become useful down the line if I ever pull an ultra rare I can upgrade, but the current odds are ever not in my favor.
Grats! Keep playing and improving, you'll pull lots more good Spideys in time... Even if sometimes that seems impossible! I've seen super rare (6-star) Spideys start at 2- and 3-stars... Has anyone gotten more or less? The three star one I got came from the 100-ISO-8 VIP portal, but I'm not sure if that's related.
I got three 3-star Epic Scarlet Reilly from the VIP portal already, out of 4 VIP portal pulls. . It's like he's the regular spider-man of the premium portal. Hahahaha
Nope, not for me, I think theres still 1 event left I opened 3 of event portals, got all battle damaged and 5 star normal spiderman and 1 more battledamagedd from premium portal Looks like they are messing up portal rewards Also anyone else finding lots of glitches in new event, like areas where u are basically forced to die Last ones where easy for me, the difficulty in this one has risen substantially and someone already has a 4mill score in it, idk but I think hackers are getting smarter
I could cry I'm ending up missing the 250 ISO reward by 20,000 points. I realized too late and only have less then ten minutes left
Well in the current event I think I got 5-6m? Can't remember for sure. by using 2x 5 star spideys plus a lv 60ish electro spidey Now I just saw a guy with 49m points at the top of my daily leaderboard now I'm pretty sure THATS cheating lol My pull has been either a 5 star Reilly or a 5 star normal spidey
Same I have 1 lvl 70, and 2 lvl 50s, with electro spiderman at lvl 50 Im probably just not good at this one lol, I got 2nd place in lat event
Well I was using the combo+1 and 4sec extra combo time Reilly as my main spidey so I could string hundreds of double points combo for about 90% of my run before using my 2nd which is iron spider that gives me extra 2k points before multiplier for each boss. I put him 2nd cuz the bosses come pretty quick the further you get in your run. I mean if you are using say.... A normal Spider-Man as your 1st runner that has a +xp skill, It would make your score significantly lower. You should Use the spidey with the better skill in your 1st lineup even if his multiplier is lower then spidey #2 and #3. But I think everybody knows this already lol
I asked Gameloft support about only getting vanilla Spider-Mans from the premium portals. They said "We would consider this functionality to be part of the normal operation of the game and we cannot be held responsible for players' actions." Sigh. I hope someone can come in here and give a better answer. On a happier note, Issue 3 just became available to me. I was going to work on the event combos to get to 15k... But I'd rather try something conceivable!!
Thanks for the tips, yh I have the ben reilly spiderman, but the one which is lvl 54 is the other one, 30 percent score from counters, and +1 from combos The one your talking about I have him but only lvl 20 as I havent got any more of him to rank up, and I know due to his 4 second counter hes the best to get higher scores My main spiderman I use is battle damaged lvl 70 , I thnk hes second best after your ben reilly one
Oh no 4th slot is opened! That means my high score might not hold up lol... I should play again before today's leaderboard finishes
40% completed the new third act zone but cant get a 100% and i am stuck. See attached image. Now, we need to have a level 50+ rare hero too this time I dont have any rare heroes with 50 plus level
