I currently use 1lvl70, 1almost lvl70, 1lvl50 but also rare. I actually have every blue guy, 1 purple and I am just upgrading the ones I get a card for, not really targeting specific ones. The score I made in the Future Foundation event was because the purple card I have turns out to be bulletproof! Edit: some dude just passed me with 7m on FF event :/

This is interesting... This might only be a huge coincidence, or I actually had a hand in removing the hacked scores. Last night I was disgusted, and perturbed, at the hacked scores I was looking at for this game (and every damn game) in Game Center. Therefore, I reported the top 25 scores, one after the other, with a description. Then today, the scores are removed. I really think my flood of reports did something. EDIT: Nevermind. The BS scores are still in Game Center. The in-game leaderboard is obviously the one mentioned.

Yeah, that's pretty tempting... why did it have to appear MOMENTS after I dropped below 100 ISO-8? Anyone got any data on probability for a given Spider-Man from each portal? (Other than the ones listed on the Portal screen, like 20% chance of Ends of the Earth Spidey in the Event Portal)
Well I got one each of the purple ones minus bullet proof so far, and all of the blue ones just by doing ok on the daily leader boards, events and the premium "deals". And id say about a 5% chance for your premium to be epic. But that's just me pulling numbers out of thin air lol.
Wow psience. I quit at 2500 and focussing on the other event. 33000 there so far, 48000 is still too far
I'm trying to play this game on 2 devices. I find it rather curious that as soon as I spend ios crystals, it instantly syncs between devices. Vials, level progression, and spidey's earned/bought don't.... I played on my ipad last night, and bought a rare spidey. But when I loaded the game on my iphone this morning, my crystal total is lowered but no spidey and none of the vials I earned from last night. They are there on my ipad though. So if I play at all today on my iphone, when I get home and load my ipad, all that progression from last night (including rare spidey) will be gone. If my crystal total hadn't been reduced, I wouldn't have as much as a problem but as that is realy the premium currency of the game, it's not cool to not have my rare spidey syned on both devices, and seems a bit shady that crystal usage seems to sync so well...
I think it has something to do with offline mode. Obviously crystals can't be stored on your device, but everything else is. Dem hackers. >_>
I commend you. I got to 6,000 and said "enough!" Even though I have 138 energy stored up in my mailbox so that's not the problem. The event just starts you off sooooo slow that I just don't have the patience to more than double my combo count when I already have a score that I'm unlikely to beat on the leaderboard and have run out of Spideys to level. I need the Daily Deals to start working for me again though or the lack of any progress in this game is going to drive me away. (I say that now but the moment Spider-Man 2099 is released they'll have me again...)

For each near-miss, ring, or hit combo occurring, you get +30% score for that. 20 score becomes 26, 100 becomes 130 and so on. All in all this armor is pretty weak compared to other scoring-type armors though.

What's everyone's highest combo streak? I just got a little over 400 I was nearly having a meltdown to not mess it up lol
