This pisses me off... just won the Event Portal prize 5 minutes ago but didnt get the portal... must be because he Event Portal was pulled already...
Regardless of the issue... I really like this game but it's starting to get stale... If I were just into collecting, what games can you guys recommend similar to this one?
Do you know what the Event Portal is for "Don't Boss Me Around"? By defeating 40 bosses, I don't actually win anything? I simply unlock a portal (which I have to buy) that gives me a chance of getting a rare Spider-Man?
The event portal was the one that gives the iron spider costume but apparently its gone now. I guess dats why it gives you nothing.
LOL... i received 10 ISO8 from customer service for my issue regarding lost premium portal daily reward and an event portal reward which is basically 50 ISO8. Sigh...
Ok guys the best way to have better score in this game : spam the regular portal button when you can, improve all you 4 stars Spideys (better Noir, Armor etc, before the original Spidey) then, finish the 2 issues. After that use your ISO 8 only on Premium portal. It's the only way...for free.
But don't just use the premium portal. Be patient and wait for the daily half price portal. Make sure you always have at least 12 IOS-8 so you can buy it whenever it randomly pops up. Be aggressive on the daily leaderboard, too. Spending 1 ISO-8 to continue a good run may be worth it if you can get to at least a Bronze Daily reward (10 ISO-8). I've gotten it three or four days in a row. And make sure to play every day. The last daily reward is a premium portal. Do spend some on expanding how many card slots you have. I have 17 slots at the moment, which has worked out pretty well for a while. Don't keep too many Spider-Men either. I like to save room for Blue and Purple cards, though I might have to start burning some soon. And if you feel like the game is getting stale, sit out an event. Just drop in for a run each day on the Unlimited (hah hah) mode leaderboard so you get a prize and the daily use prize.
My main strategy is to complete all the objectives on each event. They can get grindy, but they are worth it, especially in my case where im really enjoying this game. You'll be racking up ISO8s, vials, premium, event and basic portals, and even specific cards by completing all the objectives. I pay less attention to the leaderboards, but i've been fortunate enough since the very beginning to always be in the gold or silver brackets. The bronze bracket is a good way to earn ISO8, but i find gold and silver more rewarding since it gives you either a rare card or either a premium or event portal, which are worth 25 ISO a pop. I especially like the premium and event portals. It's still random, but you get a chance to improve rares and epics. I usually do only 2 to 5 runs in endless mode just so i can get daily rewards. I do grind the event portals much though.
On a more positive theme, what parts of the game do you think are the easiest, and what parts are the hardest for you guys? For me, the areas ranking from hardest to easiest would be: 1. Oscorp Labs / Rooftops 2. Ship (the platforming area) 3. Oscorp Factory / Mecha Octopus The swing and tilting segments are always easy. For bosses it would be: 1. Vulture 2. Gobby 3. Electro
Yeah we are all right about one thing about this game : it's not an endless runner. It's a farming game for Spideys fan [emoji14]
I'm having an issue with the energy refill. Now it takes me 32 hours to get 1 spidey refill! What is going on?? Is anyone else having this problem?
Yeah I reached the limit on the event and beat 8 or so without ISO was mad when I couldn't go further. For unlimited mode I've gotten pretty far too it's really not hard just have to be pretty fast with those swipes and I tend to skip worrying about combos at some point usually after boss 2 so I can focus what's ahead of me.
Good grief. I think I may have beaten 3 bosses once on the event, but that's just impressive numbers. I'm hoping to get an iPhone 6 this weekend (wish me luck, I'm just walking in and hoping!), and I'm pretty excited about a little bigger screen for this game.
