A few questions about the game: 1: I got a game portal as a reward, but can't find where it is and how to use it. 2: Can you get ISO-8 from just doing a run? Every end of a run shows ISO-8 = 0 along with the rest of your score, which leads me to believe you can earn them from runs, and not just as daily rewards and such. 3: When buying upgrades, like web fists, is it one use only, or do you always have one to use every run after making the purchase? Thanks for any help!
1. In your recruit screen you can open your reward portal. It'll have the word "claim" instea of the usual price for opening the portal. 2. Sometimes there's a golden mob that you can kill and it'll reward you 1 ISO. He looks just like a normal robot just golden in color.
In addition to MilkTea's post: 1. You may have to check the Menu>Inbox first coz some rewards need to be received through mail first which activates the reward in the recruit screen changing the recruit button to Claim. 2. The golden mobs appear in the first few runs AFTER each daily reset. After that they wont appear until after the next reset. The most gold mobs i found are 3... Im not sure if there are more in one day. 3. When upgrading skills (through the menu) these are persistent improvements that affect the pickups in the game.
Man this current event is hard I have 2.4million and currently in 6th, top score is 4.4mill! People are crazy good! I contacted Gameloft about my bug coming in second when I was first a few days ago and they gave me 10 iso8 so they do help you out if you contact them.
Holy crap... I just fought Electro. Disappointed he's just the same as the other bosses, but hey, new boss. Im also really liking the new obstacles being introduced each couple days. I thought before i was just hallucinating that i didnt realize the existence of the flower flame thingy, but then today they added the instant-spawning obstacles on the rooftops which act similar to the laser trip-wires inside Oscorp. Hopefully they sort out the rewards fluke that's going on currently. 56 mins til the Iron Fist event ends, and i dont want to lose out on Iron Spider and 25 ISO8.
Oscorp laser thingies are the worst... They always catch me while I am switching lanes... For the Electro, I hope the Electro proof suit will have some advantage over the boss, and not be just cosmetic.
If you look on the side of the lanes you can see the posts where the lasers come out of so you can prepare, some are there as decoys too though so be careful. They have the same pattern always so you can memorize when they activate.
The new "beamed down" obstacles on the rooftops dont have any hints as to when they appear... they just do, and the screen goes into bullet-time, but swiping sideways=death most likely, kinda like the lasers.
Oh... the event just ended. I hope i get my friggin reward or this'll be the end of Spider-Man Unlimited for me. There wont be any reason to play if im not even getting any rewards. EDIT: Holy hell yeah! Got my reward. *happy dance
Incredible you are all still enjoying and farming this game with those timers. Gameloft got you right. Bug controls and timers are just pissing me off. Really hope Gameloft is cooking an update for this month. Because i just can't bear anymore to wait 50 minutes to have 5 tokens....
Yeah they are trying my patience too. Just lost three tokens in a row due to random lag spikes and dropped swipe inputs. That coupled with the game eating my rewards is driving my blood pressure sky high.
Gameloft didnt "get me right." It's mainly because im consistently on top of the leaderboards, which nets me tons of freebies. But im aware of what the game is and what it will still become and what-not. So far, i never had to wait on my timers. Im doing well in almost each run that i always have energy to run if i want to play. But yeah, the timer's existence is the crappiest limiter in this game. The expensive slot-unlocks come in a close second.
We are not all pro gamer muliplayer man. Keep that in mind. I want to play this game without constantly think about how i'll do next because i'm limited in play...
That's why im just saying i didnt fall into the Gameloft trap. Im just merely taking advantage of the circumstances. I understand eventually the next events will require different costumes for the multiplier bonuses, and i'll be at the bottom of the pile too. And that everything will eventually go downhill for me. At least i've had some good fun with the game while it lasted.
