DO NOT spend iso-8 on the vial and XP boosts. Vials and XP are plentiful, particularly, when you make plenty of friends on the game. This is because you will get additional plays/energy. You can also get additional vials by "bragging" on the Unlimited Run with your friends lists, up to 2500 vials a day. So no to vials/xp boost. I would save my iso-8 for team roster spots (but only 1 at a time as needed... you don't want too many empty spots), along with upgrading the power-ups (web hammer or shield first, then 2x, then vial magnet at the very end... because again vials are plentiful). You get a free standard portal every day and a half price (12 ISO-8) premium portal. Why do I keep seeing people talking about multi-day events as if they're currently going on? Am I just not able to access one that's actually taking place atm? Note that I'm new to the game and may just be missing something simple.
Did anyone get a free gift for the holidays? It said it would give me a portal and an inventory slot, but I didn't get the slot. Odd..
I got an event portal in my mailbox and inventory slots automatically added. I don't have any multi-day events going on, just the Happy Holidays Spider-Woman Buff event.
Wait, you actually got the two free inventory slots? Everyone else who's spoken up (including me) got the free portal, but no extra slots. A lot of people (again, myself included) are also missing their daily leaderboard reward. Oh, and merry Christmas, everybody!
Merry Christmas! I assumed I got my inventory slots since I had two open slots and they told me they gave me two slots. Normally my slots are all full, but it's at least possible that I'd cleared two slots the day before and just forgot about it. I was 99% sure I didn't get my daily leaderboard prize either, but again my memory was failing me. Too much going on this time of year!
Hum.. I just snagged a legendary superior spiderman with 3 stars out of 6 or seven out of the daily premium 12 iso8 portal. While i am glad for this, i have to ask, what is the max level needed for the story issues? It would be insane to wait for another legendary superior to rank him up to 4 stars. How are you guys playing story missions, and can i have some advice? Btw, i am pretty happy with this game, its why i bought tasm2 for 99 cents.. And almost regret it but eh
My inbox seems to be broken. I can't get anything. I just bought the daily 12 ISO portal and it wasn't delivered, in addition to the inventory spot problem. BLARGH!
You'll eventually need a fully ranked epic to progress through the story levels. But it's probably only a matter of time before they require a level 100. The "easiest" way to get a level 100 is to get the newest Spidey from the current event, plus pull one at three stars from the event portal, then earn a few more of them in the daily leaderboards when it drops to the Silver level prize. Obviously you need a lot of ISO-8 (for the event portals and probably some boosts in your daily runs) and you need to be able to get to a great run in the daily leaderboard with a high enough multiplier team (you absolutely need all four Spidey team slots unlocked) to even think about this, but it's still the most reliable path to a level 100. Unless they change the daily reward on you late in the event and you get stuck with a level 90 Spider-Gwen and in an impossible bracket in the current event so the Rank Up reward for finishing top 10 is slipping quickly out of reach despite your 24.5 M score in said event ... but that's just me.
Can confirm: bought a Premium Portal in the daily deal and no mail arrived... In addition to yesterday's daily leaderboard prize.
I have been dealing with the support two weeks with four seperate tickets, each for another event. Most of the last four event progress step four rewards , two event leaderboard rewards went missing; also I didn't get the two inv. slots and one star Spider Woman progress reward too. I just tried the new event now and... Voila! Tier 1 progress reward is void! I love this game but something broke the game engine after the update. My only driving force is, I still somehow receive my daily leaderboard bronze iso8s. Edit: I just found out, I didn't receive the daily leaderboard prize of yesterday too. As of this moment, I can only get a daily free portal and nothing else.
I've had loads of grief the last few days. Didn't receive the two free slots; didn't receive my top 200 prize for the Spider-Woman Christmas event; and didn't receive tokens for two half-price premium portal offers that I bought. I've opened tickets for all of them. They posted a News update today with a fix; basically back up your save via Facebook or Game Center then uninstall/reinstall. I did this and bought the premium portal offer when it popped up when I logged back in and got the claim in my inbox so maybe it has helped. Hope so!
Yeah, finally getting awards and Mail again, but those days of nothing are terrible. It was a pain (and expensive in terms of ISO-8) to finish top 10 in my event bracket to get the Rank Up. Now they say those awards are lost and to contact support, but ... Kyle, when is support going to able to restore lost Spideys and items instead of ISO-8? For one thing they won't restore even close to the amount of ISO-8 I spent trying to get the Rank Up, and for another there is no other way to get the lost item even if they did. It's not like this is the first time there's been an issue like this. Or the second or the third or the fourth. It's time for the developers to give the support team more power here to actually make this stuff right. (Also, it's long past time to triple the QA efforts, giving you guys the benefit of the doubt that QA is a non-zero effort right now.)
Call me a noob, but I thought this was an endless runner? I have over 500 ISO-8 saved up from varies sources, so for the first time tonight I actually used three of them to last longer in an event portal. I got a score of over 6 million, BUT I came to an END. To my surprise I might add, which basically said "great run" and exited me from the run. I'm assuming this is normal? Is there really an end point, or is that just for the event portals?
First off, wow for saving up so much ISO 8! Secondly, yes it's normal for runs to end. I think that each event has a different run length, which is the same for all users, but they all do end.
Hey, hope everyone had a great holiday! How's the game been going for you guys? I've just been saving up iso-8 for Silk and Miles for the past couple weeks (as it turned out, it only took me 4 tries to get Silk; some good luck for once). I've stopped buying premium portals completely (even the half-price deals) since I finally got my legendary vanilla to rank 7, and there's nothing else in the premium portal that's worth spending iso on. Holy moly, that's a big stash of ISO-8! It took me earning-but-never-getting the Rank Up to get me to stop playing this game every day. I just ignored Cyborg Spidey entirely (the only Spidey I don't have at all, I think), but I'm going to at least get the Silk progression award.
