I'm hoping I get bumped down below 99 in the daily leaderboard now. I aimed high for a Spider-Gwen, but after the update, they pulled a switcheroo. I don't need another Superior! I'm like a Superior magnet. I may have two 7 star superiors before a 6 star of any other legendary.
I can't access it because I was one of those with the bum update that's locking me out of the game. Are you saying they changed the Silver award with less than eight hours left in the event so that it's no longer Spider-Gwen?!
Some other changes that are pretty cool Spiderman (normal) +15% experience +1 combo to Shield Bombs (before it was +10% vials) Spiderman 2099 is now: Start with 10-hit combo +1 combo to Shield Bombs (before it was 15% experience) Spider-Gwen +30% bonus score to combos +1 combo to Shield Bombs (before it was start with a 10 hit combo) -- someone accidentally discovered this with the portal glitch like a week ago
That is what I'm telling you. I got a Superior. It was a bummer. The game really does not want me to get Gwen's. Does anyone in the Central time zone know what the bottom score is for top 999? I died at 4.2 mil and don't really want to play again. Too depressed about my lost Gwen.
Ugh, yup me too. I spent had two Gwens sitting at 1 star on my roster waiting forever for her portal, then it opened and I spent over 500 ISO-8 on Spider-Gwen Portals and got one Gwen, I tried to get her from the Daily leaderboards but somehow ended up in 9th place two days ago (I think Gameloft removed some cheaters and it bumped me up UGH) and then I made sure to be around 30th place on the last leaderboard since she was the reward and then THEY CHANGE IT!?!! So yeah, even though my Game Center name is named after Spider-Gwen, I have a bunch of level 100s and none of them are Spider-Gwen because I'm one Gwen short. Very frustrating. Kyle, we need another chance to at least pull Spider-Gwen from an event portal in the near future. And you guys need to stick with the awards you promise from gold/silver medals.
I don't know; this +1 for SHIELD discs thing seems pretty underwhelming to me. Isn't it basically redundant when +1 attacks already covers SHIELD discs as well as ALL enemies? The new update will have automatic rank-up cards that can be used on any Spidey, apparently. So you'll probably be able to 7-star her even if you never get another Gwen for the rest of the game. I actually think this is the most exciting news in the update by far.
I got excited by the update, giving me reason to pick the game up again. Lo and behold, i got the dlc bug too and cant launch the game at all.
Spiderman 2099 -- he had the 15% experience bonus. Which is basically useless when you max him out. So for him to get that +1 to SHIELD bombs gives him something that is marginally useful. Though I 100% agree with you -- +1 to attacks is still the better bonus ability.
I had the dlc bug as well and since we haven't heard anything else from Kyle I just decided to delete the app and reinstall. It seemed to work fine, but one tip is to put your phone in airplane mode after you download it but before you launch it and run through the intro to make sure that you don't get stuck not being able to connect to social because you can't get your age in. Once you have your age in and have gone through the demo switch off airplane mode and restore from the backup file and you should be good to go.
Was anyone else able to play Day 2 of the multi-day event right after finishing Day 1? I figured I'd have to wait a day, but it let me jump right in. I finished it immediately, because Day 2 is score 1.5 million points for a premium card (nice and easy!) Just wondering. Guess I'll start on the boss event for Ultimate Spider-Woman. For those of you who don't keep up with comics, I find it funny that both events have the same character as their prize, Ultimate Jessica Drew. She starts off as Spider-Woman in the red and white costume, and now she is Black Widow in the jacket, red, and black costume. The funny/strange part (to me, at least) is that we are working towards two versions of the same niche character from the Ultimate universe, not two Peter Parkers.
Yeah, Kyle confirmed on the Gameloft forum that they had to pull it out for some reason before the update. He thinks it will eventually be back in, but it is gone for now.
Hmm... So, regarding the multi-day event... I was able to do the first two days yesterday. Tonight, the bar for the 2nd bar unlocked but it's greyed out even though I've already acquired 1.5 mil points. Am I screwed? I tried starting a run and then dying to see if that would update the bar but it didn't move.
What portals are there in the update? Was the premium portal changed? Cana nyone post. A pic of the stuff inside the portals?
