Woah... game is awesome so far.. Neber expected such apolished gMe from gameloft ... The game , so far, on difficult, is perfect fore me. but?! wtf I sthe second boss really so hard ?! i do not even get 20% of its hp..lol Tips and help would be cool
Beat Rhino after 5 tries, can't be that hard surely. This looks stunning on Retina, I mean really, really stunning.
My only problem with the game is pretty minor. At the end of a level, along with displaying damage accumulated, level grade, etc., there should be a counter showing how many artworks you grabbed so that you'll know whether or not you missed any.
Okay this game seems to excite me! IF 3 more people say they like it i'm getting... I don't whether to thank this website for it's helpful members and app info or curse it for annhilating my wallet with so many apps lol.
I'll have more detailed comments after I've played more than one level, but I've played enough to know this is great. On the iPhone 4 this game explodes off of the screen. The early reports (before anyone played it) of it being "too colorful" are laughable IMO. This is an upper echelon game for this platform and is as fun as ANY super hero game I've played on any handheld system.
Finished it on Normal. Very easy, but an amazing experience. Very well worth its price. One of the most memorable and satisfying games I've played on iDevice. Certainly one of the few that I felt compelled to finish in practically one sitting. Funnily enough, the last time I did that was with Zombie Infection. Guess that speaks volumes for the quality on some Gameloft titles.
No idea about the size. Probably took between 2 - 3 hours max to complete. I remember some bosses, Rhino, Goblin, Norman, Venom. I'm not a huge Spiderman geek, so forgive me, some of those are probably wrong.
The game (Spoilers) -Bosses: Sandman, Rhino, Electro, Doc Oc, Venom, Green Goblin -Each level takes about 5-10 minutes if you are just following the story -The artwork are just all the Ultimate Spiderman covers -Each boss has 3 In game photos unless you fight them twice, like Venom is being fought on Manhattan bridge or w/e, and also on a train. -Minions: Thugs, SHIELD Robots, Goblins, Guy on steroid with a big hammer,a red ninja robot with a sword, Symbiote infected women/men. -When you beat the game, you play as Black Spiderman with his symbiote powers like Venom and the minions, plus he is stronger. - There is only 1 main level where you websling, and that is the second or third last level. - You can only climb walls on specific areas where required. -No rapid web sling( Swing threw the air constantly spinning webs, only one per jump). Summary: Your swinging by and see a lady being tied up on the ground, so you help her and then she calls you a freak and runs away. Then you hear a loud explosion, so you go towards it but notice a giant man made out of sand standing on top of a bus so your like WTF. You rush towards him and are constantly being attacked by crack heads on the street. After you defeat them, a humongous steroid abuser with a big hammer appears and tries to crush you(Miniboss). You kill him and chase after the sand guy to a junk yard full of sand and find out its the Sandman. He cries why cant spiderman leave him alone, and then you kill him.You realize S.h.i.e.l.d jail blew up and 6 villains escaped. Then you notice Rhino running wild in the street trying to rob a bank, so you chase after him. Kill the crackheads, then you chase after him. (Similar to you racing Human Torch in Ultimate Spiderman original game). He throws cars at you but you duck. Then he runs into a bank while you follow and locks you in. You beat him up to 2/3 of his life remaining, then he throws you threw the wall. Snap a few photos, beat him up to 1/3 remaining then you kick him off the roof and fight him in the street. You kill him and call the animal control. Next there is a blackout and you realize immediately its Electro. You beat up the crackheads again and race after Electro to this big power plant. Once you get deep in side, you notice left/right doors are open, and the door in the middle is locked with bars that are being electrocuted. Go to both unlocked doors and de activate the switch. Once inside, you fight Electro because he just had a overdose and is going mad. You fight him and threw out the fight, he will regenerate using the electricity, so deactivate those poles then kill him. After you kill him, youll notice that girl who called you a freak is infected with the symbiote and she will attack you as a minion, infecting her clones and some men turning them into symbiotes. A shield guy will tell you that he shouldnt be helping them because the shield robots will kill him as a vigilante, not a hero and that Green Goblin blood mixed with Symbiote. You kill the lady and her friends, then you see venom swinging on a bridge. You race after him but he breaks the bridge so you just keep jumping over the cars that are falling into the water/ attacking you. You see Eddie in Venom form asking for help because he got wasted. Then he goes insane and says its Peter fault, and attacks you. Snap a few photos and just before the final blow, he runs toward a train station. You run after him, climb the wall that has symbiote guts that attack you spawning that lady who is infected, you kill her, then go into the subway. You go into the subway searching for Venom, but is trying not to get hit by a train. You fight Venom on a train, then you kill him. Then you notice Tentacles all up a wall, so you know Doc Oc escaped. You fight the symbiotes, and go into his secret lair even tho he has been in rehab, so it doesnt make since how he built it. You kill his minions and the shield robots that are attacking you then get chased buy lasers that will kill you in one touch. You go into his main hiding spot and then you attack him at his claws then he dies. Next a shield worker informs you that the Green Goblin has taken the mayor and people at a baseball game hostage in the Bronx. You then fight the Green Goblin minions/symbiotes and the red ninja robot with a sword(Miniboss) Now there is like a Wave of Thugs, Thugs/Robots/Steroid guy, Symbiote/Thugs/Goblins, Red Ninja people etc. Then you talk to Green Goblin about him being able to feel every one of his symbiote children like he is there with them. Then he feels them being murdered with an antidote and rushes back to the top of Shield HQ. You websling most of an entire level to follow him there. You finally kill the Green Goblin and then you get thanked by Shield and get informed that Dr Connors made the antidote because he was sorry he killed his wife and he became the lizard. Now you go back to the park all happy because you saved the day and the first hostage who got infected thanks you for saving her and you take a picture with her. She hugs you and you get a weird perverted feeling and think about grabbing her ass, but you know, its a E/T rated game. You unlock Black Spiderman Costume/ Ultimate difficulty. ~~~~~~~~FIN
Yeah, this is probably the best Gameloft release on the iDevice. Everything about it shines. Well worth the price.
