Ok, played the Lite. Now I get why people rave about this game. WOW. This is possibly the first action game that has convinced me I don't necessarily need a real pad and buttons. So good. So smooth. So playable. Yet, I'll still wait for a sale. Cheap cheap cheap. LOL!
Rhino isn't THAT hard actually. Like the other bosses, you just have to figure out the pattern, in this case, his rams and such. Another hint would be none other than H2O! Anyways, is anyone else having achievement problems? It's been weeks and still no achievement registered to my Gameloft Live account. =/
How do I beat Electro, keep jumping over the beams and giving him a combo but his power keeps going back to 100% !
when he's powering up and gaining health you have to quickly run and turn off all the switches that he's getting power from.
Finally made enough room to download the lite version today and have to say it's a good game, but didn't 'wow' me as much as I thought it would. Even though console Spider-Man games haven't been all that great (Spider-Man 2 probably still is the high point), one of the things I love about them is the free-roam and web-slinging. The linear gameplay kind of puts me off this version. The gameplay as far as fighting mechanics is well-done, however. I might pick this up after I play through some of my other mega-space consuming games, but I'm not dying to have it like I thought I would be.
Can anyone give me some advice for catching up with rhino in the chase section of level 2? There is obviously not enough time to fight the enemies so I've been trying to just run past them, however, when I try to use my web to swing to the next building, the web will only focus on the enemies. Even if I jump straight towards the tower to swing, spiderman will automatically turn around and shoot the web at the enemy, even if the crosshairs on the tower are green. This has got to be one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced in a game which is too bad because I was definitely enjoying it up until that point, now I feel like I wasted my money because I can't progress any farther.
Yeah, you've really gotta do your best to avoid fighting any enemies and just keep chasing Rhino. You'll get the hang of the web-swinging with only fighting minimal enemies. You can do it!
Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. I'll give it another shot and see how it goes. I think I can! Haha, thanks again. Edit: I just finished that level after a few more tries. Glad that's over with, now I can get back to enjoying the game. Thanks.
I just want to congratulate Gameloft and Marvel for creating such a great game. I have to admit I was sceptical at the start on how good this was ( look at my other posts on this thread) but now that I have got it, it is a really well done game. The graphics fit well with the theme of the game and the story, boss fights and combat makes the game a must have for all Spiderman fans. I'm not so keen on Spiderman myself but I still found it enjoyable. It is obvious Marvel has had a large influence on the game to move it away from the usual souless games that gameloft normally bring out. A game well worth the price.
Wow, lucky me. Almost bought this yesterday full price, but then Chaos Rings went on sale so I got that instead. Now I get this for only 99cents!
