Played the game, Beat the whole game, Playing the game again. Overall its has good game play, i like all the wicked combos you can preform but I have two negative: The game is too short(wanted more) Y cant spidy just climb up walls.
I thought the game was perfectly paced in terms of length. I was beginning to feel restless and I'm glad the game ended when it did. Anything more would have ruined the experience.
This received a 9/10 "Outstanding" review from IGN: http://wireless.ign.com/articles/111/1117718p1.html
Hmm... IGN's reviewer seems to be the only one who thinks that the voiceover is "well-done". LOL <sigh> I've had this game since yesterday and I still can't install it since I only have 450mb on my 32gb iPhone 3Gs. Have to finish hero of sparta 2 tonight!
You have to bait him into charging you and then dodge him. He'll run into a wall and be stunned. While he's stunned, you beat on him. You can do big damage if you hit him with the special move while he's stunned. When the battle arena switches (you'll see), you follow the same pattern, except that he'll charge twice (meaning after you dodge the first time he'll turn around and charge again). You have to dodge both the first and second charge before he gets stunned. Finally, the scene will switch again and this time you have to dodge 3 charges in a row before he gets stunned. That should do it.
I didn't think the voiceover was that bad...maybe my expectations were just really low based on everyone complaining about them, but I can't say that the voice acting bothered me all that much. Also, I'll just add to what everyone else has said: this game is ridiculously good. My only complaint would be to echo what someone else said earlier, that it would be nice if the buttons were a little bigger, but really, I don't know how they'd do that without interfering with the action. (On a related note, it would be so nice if Gameloft came out with this for the PSPgo. I doubt they will, but if everything else was exactly the same, just with actual buttons, it would make for the perfect game.)
I can't find artworks 62 and 67 and it's driving me NUTS. Anyone have any help on those or somewhere I can go for some?
Press these buttons in this exact order to beat every enemy/boss in the game: ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, DODGE, ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, DODGE, ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, DODGE...etc. At least, that's how I play
This game is amazing! I was just looking for something fun to play and bought this not thinking it would be amazing, or hard at all (a normal gameloft game). I started playing it and was really really impressed with the amount of different combos, I started on hard difficulty and was pleasantly suprised with it actually being a challenge, a little to challenging (I preceded to start again on normal difficulty). Gameloft actually got the difficulty levels right for a change. I'm loving this game! and the boss fights are also amazing, for me this totally blows HOS 2 (and I really enjoyed that game), and most other gameloft games out of the water with gameplay and graphics.
Anybody else think that the combat system is like in Batman: Arkham Asylum? It is seamless unless being interrupted. I have gotten the 100 combo award. This game is so good. I just finished it and started again with ultimate difficulty and black suit. The black suit is so awesome and the boss fights are so satisfying. Only thing i miss is ''combo list'' in option.
there is a combo list in the pause menu, just pause, then go to help, and from there you'll be able to see the combo's, there's some really sweet ones with the black suit!
Honestly I think the reviewers are just scared to admit that a Gameloft game has good voice-over. I love this game so far 9/10 from me
