Anyone here expecting to unload some gift cards this Christmas?

I was given $30 today and unloaded it on:

    7 Cities - Great!

1112 - I cant even Imagine how much work went into this! (well, actually... I can, so I appreciate it)

    Amateur Surgeon - Great!

and Burnball (slightly disappointed with this one)

I'm definately getting Pop. Sim City, maybe, and maybe a few more. I need to save up for NFS and more ngmoco apps. I have everything ngmoco right now, but I know that something else is just around the corner.

I hope I get around $50 because I have a huge list of apps that I really want. I stopped buying apps finally (I was so addicted :p), and I only want to buy apps with money I'm given or with iTunes cards.

I need about $100, but I can get by with $40 or $50. I am definately addicted, and on the Saturday after Rolando, last Saturday, I had to go get $50 in iTunes gift cards and spend. I couldn't, not buy Rolando.

Yeah, it's not really in the US, but once in a while, some US people "celebrate" it and you can get huge deals on stuff. For example, a couple years ago, I wanted to buy an animation program (my first) called "ToonBoom." It was boxing day, so it was $50 off (normal price was around $100-125 or so). I felt like, "Wow... I don't understand Boxing Day but I'm not going to question it!" :D

It's actually British, the Canadians celebrate it because they didn't chuck us out like some people ;) Just think, if you'd given in to our royal rule you'd have a public holiday on Friday, sorry. But yeah, Boxing Day, I'm not sure where the name comes from, but I think traditionally it was the day when lords and the more wealthy gave presents to their servants. Or you could just say it's the day when everyone cleans up the empty boxes from Xmas day gifts, hence Boxing Day.

Good to know. Remember kids: the more you know the further you go (metaphorically of course)...
