Well, the new build is out. And the Lines in the intro screen are fixed, that's what I've noticed so far.
Sorry to some of the BETA testers - TestFlight has been broken lately and the builds aren't coming through. If you've been confirmed as a BETA testers, then you'll get the game when TestFlight works correctly. For those who didn't make it, sorry! But you'll get first dib at our next game later this month!
So far the biggest changes I see in the new build(s) is that level 1 has changed to not be finishable with one tap and it's faster to get back into redoing a level when you fail on it. (Both of which are improvments.) There weren't any fix notes... What else has changed?
I'm really looking forward to this game, didn't get in the beta testing, but ah well. From what I've seen on the trailer, you need to put a little more work into animating the legs and running. The running animation looks a little strange, almost like the character is just gliding across the ground. Maybe make him be in a slightly different position when running, and make him move or bob a little bit. The jumping could use some work also. When the character jumps, the only thing on the character that moves are his legs, maybe have him changer body and arm positions also. And when he is in midair and falling, he is in the same position as when he is standing still, maybe make his legs bend a little and have him put his arms in the air. Overall though, this looks like a great game! Keep up the good work! One more thing, is there an updated release timeframe?
As I mentioned earlier, that little "line" thing that happens when the intro title and big sword come down is fixed as per my knowledge.
Multitasking has been added from the first beta, leaderboards are (sorta) starting to work. Bunch of other very minor things have been fixed too.
I think at least for the non-iPad 3 retina displays, like the touch 4th gen, use retina graphics. I dont see the rather washed out pixelated look of non retina graphics on my device.
It will look the same across all devices, including the newest iPad. This team has learned a lot from Terra Noctis regarding the overall design, so it looks great.
I really really like this game! Challenging and still unique even tho it was obviously inspired by SCB! I haven't tried the endless mode yet, but challenges have kept me busy so far!
Glad you are enjoying it! The endless mode becomes pretty fun once you start getting more upgrades and compete against online leaderboards! ;-)
