Ahah well I have to disagree with that!! Scorched Monsters has no variety at all I know..but I like it that way..an "autistic and repetivite" kill-that-monster-kill-that-monster-kill-that-monster game! That's why it's so catchy to me... Anyway..Spellsword it's totally another level!
Does anyone here know how the scores for endless mode is calculated? The numbers shown on the GameCenter leaderboards don't really correspond to anything that I can see for myself, and the game itself shows stats for rupees, waves, no. of monsters slain and no. of spellcards collected without actually saying what the weightage of each component is in regards to score calculation :S
Well, I resisted this thinking I didn't need another SCB or Muffin Knight-style game, but gave in today. Got to say I'm glad I did. Really fun game. Plenty of other games, like especially runners, have "missions" to cover during your runs, but it often doesn't really seem to make the game feel all that much different. The level-based missions in this though make this game, at least to me, more statisfying than just the arena battles of SCB or Muffin Knight, where all you really do is grind to get new unlocks. Great game!
Any tips on how to collect 50 spell cards? My ceiling has been 32 thus far and can't seem to break through.
I feel the same exact way. I really loved super crate box. Especially because they teased updates. But then we got to like 80 million and I said screw it and stopped playing. Thought it was gonna be like that for this but t he missions make it so much better.
who is the developer of this game? is it firefruitforge or everplay... and who is the developer of Terra Noctis? bulkpix or firefruitforge... i HATE when games are realised like this.. and there is no way to know who the developer is.. who to give cred to. hate this stuff, and really hate Chillingo and shit like that. you just can't see who is developing the games you like. -.- soo, who is it?
Does anyone else like how there's no like different swords tht you can buy like in most games? I love how there's only one sword but spells to make it better. Anyone agree?
One suggestion, but not sure if it would make the game too easy - Maybe a few seconds of invulnerability after being hit by a monster? This way you won't lose like 5 hearts worth of health if you get surrounded by a pack of bees or whatnot.
this is actually a good suggestion. It will increase everyone's scores in the survival arenas and wont really impact how good a player gets because everyone gets the same treatment, but on the other hand, it might make the mission/story mode too easy.
Speaking of survival scores. What are some high scores? Mine are: Forest trap: Easy: 159 rupees 115 enemies 10 waves 21 cards Normal: 89 rupees 96 enemies 7 waves 18 cards Hard: 218 rupees 198 enemies 8 waves 31 cards And I havent gotten to really do mine shaft in endless yet.
I've gotten up to 70+ cards and 20+ waves on the hard modes of forest trap and hot spot, but its probably because I have better upgrades. Your scores will naturally improve as you level up your skills and get better equips. I also attribute my better runs to good luck, because I'm using the 50% chance dodge helmet and sometimes I just walk into a swarm of enemies and dodge everything. I personally think the best end-game equips will be the 50% dodge helmet (or +2 hearts helmet) and all +hearts for the rest of the equips. IMO 50% dodge is HUGE and I'd say it's probably more valuable than an extra 2 hearts from the helmet, which is why I pick if over the +2 hearts helmet, but I guess it's personal preference. This is, of course, under the assumption that all the +card skill level equips have no effect once you've maxed out all your skills.
*Updated Forest Trap Hard 7614 Rupees, Wave 28, 1437 enemies & 171 cards . Max Fireball & Poison is so convenient in screen clearing mobs! Max rupee skill on the other hand... rains rupees! An addicting game just got more addicting. Leveling up spellcards is so satisfying!
Weird, I got less cards (143) less rupees (5813) and less enemies (1316) but i die at a higher wave (26)... Forest Trap hard as well. I wonder why @_@
My epic fail for forgetting to bump the wave number up to 28 -_- Sry for your confusion (and possible mathematical torment), I was in an adrenal rush and somehow overlooked my wave number. --------- Anyway, my Mine Shaft hard enemy kill statistic is quite baffling - Wave 30, 1220 enemies and 170 cards. 2 less waves than Forest Trap hard and ~200 less enemies!? Ponder that! Btw maxing the light spellcard makes your normal attacks a BOMB! The radius of your swings is just so... plump!
