If one does the calendar trick to get the special swords can one no longer then collect cash from their completed maps?
Stun goes to 3 turns at level 2, so once you get that, its a must bring for hard fights IMHO. My Toxin is only level 1. I haven't tested it that thoroughly yet, but its maybe doing 10% initially, plus 1% for a turn or two. The bummer about Toxin is that its recharged with fire, just like Enchant, which is also very useful. So clearly you are going to use at most one of them twice. I'm running 3 Life Drain, Toxin, Stun, Enchant & Heal at the moment. If I lose slots when I upgrade, I'll drop Heal. I only have Heal I, haven't seen a Heal II yet. Of the others, I played around with Weaken to Water a lot. Its powerful if your big attack is going to be water. However, now that I have Stun & Toxin, and am not really relying on heal, my big attack is preferably going to be Cold or Fire.
...Heal 2 heals 500 hp. So atm, I have 2 of the new runes available to buy in the shop: Toxin and Rejuvenate. Each of them costs around 13k in gold. Between the 2, I'll be choosing Rejuvenate. I'll tell you guys what it does when I get it. Only 2k more gold to go...
Still get cash, yes. The only thing you don't continue to get is Exp caps out at level 25. 0 exp after that. Everything else keeps coming.
The Rejuvenate rune heals a percentage of your health. As to how much, I'm not sure. Now you'll be able to heal much more often if you have both the Heal and Rejuvenate runes equipped, since one uses water tiles and the other uses cloud tiles. Btw, just found out a while ago... Heal rune at lvl 3 (max) heals 1200 hp.
Hi guys! I have a Rune question: What's the difference between the green Poison Rune and the new red Toxin Rune? Other than the fact that the red Toxin Rune costs 11k and is powered up by fire, they seem to do the same thing and damage. Worse, it only damages for 1 turn. I've been using the green Poison Rune and it's level 2 now. I was intrigued by the red Toxin rune because of the crazy pricetag and so I thought that it'd be SOOO powerful. So I bought it, halved my hard-earned money, and realized that my CHEAPER (albeit stronger) green Poison rune is much much better. *le sigh* Didn't know they also released the new Rejuvenate rune... Should've bought that instead.
Dude, Toxin is awesome. At level 1, it destroys about 8% of the enemy health *instantly* and then another 1% or so for two turns. Its a %, whereas poison is a flat number. Poison level 2 does about 500 total damage. I don't know about poison 3, but figure somewhere around 12-1500 total damage. Toxin level 1 did 2200 damage for me instantly on the stage 5 end boss (which has 25,000 health). Cant wait to get it to level 2.
I don't have Toxin yet, but it says that it is percentage-based damage, so it will probably be stronger as you continue on through the game, where your current poison rune will become less useful later on, since it does a fixed damage. It's also possible that the low-level toxin is weaker right now for you than a high level poison, but maybe as you unlock more of the toxin's tiers it will be stronger than equal tiers of poison.
Woah. Went back to test it again and it is true. There really IS a reason why it's so DARN expensive! It damages using the power of PERCENTAGE! Awesome. The stronger the enemy, the bigger the number. But because I'm just on the early beginner levels, Poison seems to deal a much noticeable damage... for now. Can't wait to get stronger and test this baby out on huge HP monsters!
I'm looking for Drain II and Heal II. Seen 15 type II runes, just not those. My Drain I's are at 600 out of 1350 towards level 4. So I'm not entirely clear its even going to be worth upgrading to Drain II. What are the stats/upgrade path?
For those just starting, I'm finding that the Transmute-to-Fire rune works great in combination with the Toxin and / or Enchant runes. Transmute can be charged from any tile matches. There also seems to be some kind of automatic rollover. Even though Nodnarb is way past me, I have gotten free moves from him several times while he has been slumming in my neighborhood (recapturing, I assume.) The Facebook attachment to Spellfall has been working great for me. I use my non-personal Facebook account and I am getting up to 48% chance extra moves. (Feel free to add "Seeley Cat"on Facebook). Those extra moves really help out -- for regular play, for bosses, for recapturing lower maps or for recharging runes at lower levels without taking a hit. Cool, free, and easy.
To find specific runes are most folk using the store reset feature? Or, does what you want just tend to show up in the store eventually?
Too expensive. I just lost out on my ideal weapon upgrade because I didn't have enough gold. I came up with a gold farm strategy, got 3500 gold twice from the last boss on the Runes of Chronos. He doesn't hit super hard with 60 water resist (10 from armor, and two water stats runes, one leveled to two). So I just fill the bottom with special tiles, prioritizing red so I can use enchant. I then activate the gold one, turning the whole screen gold with hopefully 5+ spell orbs. I can do that 2-3 with this boss, at level 11. It doesn't take that long, but of course you don't get many rune points per time spent.
