If you equip two ability runes of the same type they both show up separately in combat and you can switch between them both and charge them both, and use them both separately. The other non-ability rune stats definitely stack, you can see the effect on your stats in the inventory screen on the left side.
Thanks for confirming. I was stating it as an impression based on being able to equip, charge, & use them separately however I hadn't had any with overlapping stats yet so I wasn't positive.
So it's not worth it to have two of the same ability runes (unless I guess you are charging them up in cheap battles to unleash them in a harder one), but it could be useful for the passives. Good to know.
Clearly not worth doing with health, since by the time you get another level 3 health rune, a life drain rune would actually yield more health or close to it anyways. One health rune will stay worth bringing because it can be used multiple times in battle, but a second will be superseded relatively soon. Passives its definitely worth it. All life drain runes + a health rune works well for farming/healing back up. Move gear + all move runes would potentially be hugely powerful, since the more +move you have, the more additional + move is worth (if it works the way I'm thinking). +50% move, if that can be hit, should actually double your number of moves. (That is assuming you can get free moves off of free moves, which may well be a bad assumption.)
Stacked poison ability is really useful for bosses. Go in with a couple level 2-3 poisons charged. Using one and then the other will cause the number of moves that they poison to go up. So if a level 2 poison does damage for 3 moves, then using it twice will cause a poison for 6 moves.
You would be correct. Also that $80 sword is definitely not worth $80. I received one for the 20 day login prize and it was barely above my 900 gold weapon in stats. I guess it grows stronger as you level, and has two open rune slots right away. Oh also forget about farming gold for rune slots, the second slot costs 1000 gold and the 3rd slot costs 7000! And you earn about 100 gold per battle, so yah . . .
I've only ever gotten an extra move on the last move of my turn, so I think that's the only time you can get the extra move. If you have +50% extra move then I'm guessing that means you have a 50% chance of getting an extra move each turn. If your turns are 5 moves each (which seems to be the average for most enemies), then you're getting 1 free move every 10 moves, which is 10% more moves, on average.
Yeah, extra moves sounded awesome, but it doesn't seem good in practice. There are too many better runes. Heal is good, enchant is good, weaken to water is good, and life drain is good. Poison too, per you (I'm not using it). Is Life Drain 2 going to show up soon? Sooo glad I didn't waste too much time on armor, attack, or recharge runes (I've seen version 2 of all of those already)
Those prices aren't static either. Buy the slots early because as the sword gets stronger (as you level up) the slots get more expensive. They are consistently good weapons though. I can't see anyone spending that kind of cash, especially not for the corrupt version, especially when the prizes in the login bonuses are generally pretty good.
The biggest benefit of those swords is that, since they get stronger as you level, you can just use those the whole time and not keep having to unlock rune slots on numerous weapons as you progress through the game. You can get all five swords for free in one night (as mentioned earlier in this thread), and having them really can save you quite a bit of gold.
Quick question, when I unlock rune slots on a sword those slots are only for that sword, or an I paying for rune slots across weapons?
im digging this game for sure. one thing to consider is that you have three save slots. once your health is to the point that you cant feasably continue, start up a second save spot. make the third one when number 2 runs out of health, and then, by the time youve run out of life on that one, go back into your first one. now youll have full life and gold to farm from the levels youve alreasy beaten. this isnt going to get you super far concerning from a 'finish the game' standpoint, but you can at least keep playing until _you_ say youre done, and you can check out a bunch of random gear this way too. #
Okay so I own all the premium swords now, however not sure if I want to do that again to unlock all their runes with gold I unlocked all the runes on the fire sword, but someone mentioned this cost goes up with level?!
DEFINITELY buy the slots NOW. As you level up, he sword gets stronger & as the weapon gets stronger to slots get more expensive. Once a slot is purchased on a specific weapon, it stays purchased, so buy them now while they are cheap! I'm at Atk:80-90 weapons & slot 5 is over 1.2 million gold. I'm glad I'm not paying for ny of this stuff ;-)
So that same calendar trick instantly heals you, I believe. Just adjusted by an hour accidentally (instead of a day) and I immediately got the "fully healed" message. Game on. Enjoy while it lasts!
Any way to continue my save from my iPad to my iPhone? I see you can log into FB but I'd rather not do that and not sure if it even syncs data between devices...
