good trick that works for me, good if you're starting the 20 days calendar or a new save: instead of going forward, go backwards. Go back 20, 40 whatever how many days and just move the clock up to the actual date. You won't get the free box penalty that way. If you do it in a game you're already playing, you won't get the free box until you get to the real date, if it's a new save, you get one every time you move the clock up one day.
Cool trick DonnaNoble. So, the day before I'm due to get my 20th day reward, set the clock back 40 days? Then, inch the calendar up day by day until I get to the real date?
"All the Nooks and Crannies" the branch in the upper-right corner of Augur's Forest gets gold monsters quite frequently in my game (on the Android) Aside from that, check the flavor text (locations that specifically talk about corrupt enemies seem to always produce corrupt critters) and look for places which only generate 1 monster instead of 2.
I tried this spot this morning, and got a gold and a silver enemy in pretty quick succession. Thanks for the tip.
Does anyone have the Life Blood Orb? It just popped up in the store for me. It's the first time I've had a chance to buy a Legendary item. And it's over $2 million gold! Plus I would have to spend a whole bunch more to add sockets so that I can put in mastery runes and actually hurt monsters with it. What is "Regen"? How is it different from Drain?
Replying to answer my own question... Yes, you do get the option. After you beat the final boss it gives you a prompt on whether you want to go to the new game or not. If you say "no," it takes you to the regular map, and in the lower left is a button to take you to new game plus.
While neither as reliable or easy as "Nooks and Crannies," I have seen a Lvl 11 Gold Chitomite several times in "Possessed By Corruption (4/5)" in the Koperov Ironworks. I've also found a few locations that repeatedly get silver enemies, but haven't gotten golds on those.
Every non-boss location can be a gold or silver enemy. The "branches" seems to be more frequent, but overall, the best way to get them is speed killing the same location.
Question about the "new game plus" after restarting... what's with the colored names of the monsters? All of the monsters' names (Gobkin, Angry Glob, etc.) are in different colors. I've seen white, orange, red, and yellow. It doesn't look to me like it's showing how difficult the monster is.
Grey = 2 levels below you Green = 1 level below White = your level Yellow = 1 level higher Orange = 2 levels higher Red = 3+ levels higher It should have the numerical value also
Ah yes. It's so obvious now that you point it out. Thanks. I regret switching to New Game Plus. I delayed a long time and I wish I had delayed even longer.
So.. Little late in replying, but here is a rundown of abilities: Regen: + x HP per move Pain: - x HP per move Drain: .5% HP returned per point per attack dmg <element> Drain: As above, but for a specific element. First Strike: Chance to perform an "enchanted" attack prior to combat (free move) Extra move: self explanatory* edit below Crit bonus: chance your attack will be a critical hit (1.5x damage, I think) Atk/def: self explanatory Exp boost: sell explanatory Coin bonus: applies to the value of coins collected in a fight & bonus coins, and victory coins. Elemental Mastery: def/atk value specific to that element. Stun: chance to "gain" 1 move for any action in a move. This is regardless of damage & enchanted attack is an extra chance. I think that covers all current bonuses. Max natural crit is 30% chance. * extra move chance: 100% = 1 free move, 120% = 1 free move + 20% chance for a second move
My drain value must be off somewhere. It seems to be fine for the first 100 or so drain. Using the orb (440+ drain) doesn't even have a 1:1 ratio. My math would have had 1:1 at around 200 drain. It would appear that there are diminishing returns for drain and a 1:1 ratio wouldn't even occur until 600 or more drain.
i've played this games for quite sometime and i think the best armor in this game is any element lorica(except corrupt), because with it skills i could get 100k damage even using a weapon with 21 attack, but i use 3 elemental mastery level 5 my drain 26 and it only drain 14 - 17% damage, but with 100k damage i usually drain about 15k
The past couple of days, the game crashes immediately upon start-up. If I delete and reinstall, will I lose all my progress?
Stuck Im currently stuck on world 5, temple of water. I clock glitched every legendary calendar and lorica, and have all rune slots unlocked on them My setup is as follows: Weapon: Purple calendar -Runes: ---Toxin lvl 2 ---Purple mastery lvl 4 ---Purple mastery lvl 4 ---Purple mastery lvl 4 ---Purple mastery lvl 4 Armor: Blue lorica -Runes: ---Drain 2 lvl 3 ---Drain 2 lvl 2 ---Drain 2 lvl 2 ---Drain 1 lvl 3 ---Drain 1 lvl 3 The problem im running into is turns. Unlike Puzzle and Dragons, where i can consistently make 7-9 combos every turn, this game forces me to make one combo every few turns. Dragging one tile at a time means creating a spell/+ tile every 4 (2 if im lucky) turns. Then after i have to rearrange them to form a combo. This averages 30-35 turns before i have a good board setup and can burst the enemy down. By this time im usually dead cause the enemy hits for 20-25% of my hp bar every 4-5 turns. This is only the FIRST row of levels and i cant pass it! How hard is this game D:
Cheat for SpellFall (Ends frustration about how long it takes to get Epic Items) 1. Collect your Free Item for the day. Pick up all coins from conquered areas. 2. Exit the game. 3. Access the Calendar on your Phone or iPad. 4. Set the Day on your Calendar Forward ONE Day. 5. Access the SpellFall game again. Pick up your next Free Item and all Coins from Conquered areas. 6. Repeat step 4 and 5 until you've acquired all the Free Items you desire. Then, restore the game to present day and play as normal. NOTE: The only side effect I've found to this Cheat is that the Counter for the Free Bronze Treasure Box Item becomes set to require hundreds of hours before you get that one. However, the Free Epic Items more than make up for it. And you keep these, even after resetting your game to "Present Day". (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
