I just got Heal 3. I use that and level one Rejuvenate. Heal 3 seems to heal more and charge much faster.
I noticed on the wiki that you posted stats for each enemy. Their stats vary based on their level. When I go back and fight in recaptured areas the enemy's stats are all higher than the first time I fought them. Maybe you could show their stats at each level.
I actually did not do those stats. Someone else did before I started (today) editing the wiki. Thanks for looking and saying that. Maybe we should put that it is random?
Multiple mastery runes are cumulative - wiki is wrong in that regard. But that doesn't mean the effect of resistance is linear. Just like Life Drain is clearly not linear. The high power special runes mostly charge too slowly for me (Rejuve, Stun). Toxic is better because its useful with one bar. Clearly they are very powerful, but man, so annoying to recharge. Since my water runes are my best, I'm going to look into switching to Heal 3.
Hello friendly people -- just picked up the game and caught up on the thread and have a question: Do element mastery runes drop at specific points/levels? I am level 14 in area 8 and have only seen water mastery and transmute water so far, no other element boosters. I'm about a third of the way through the plant monster levels and the cold mastery / transmute cold would have been useful here... if they drop much later, they will be basically pointless... I have been grinding lower levels repeatedly to power up my runes / heal, so it really seems like other options should have dropped by now if they were randomly in the mix. I saw that people mentioned "4.99 runes" -- is there another place to shop for them besides what randomly drops in the shop after battles (paid for with gold pieces)?
Open the store by clicking the coin display at the top right of your screen, scroll to the right and you can see other stuff to buy.
I tried that, but it only has gold and that black corruption sword. (I'm playing on an iphone, if that matters.)
Just wanted to add, that the in game purchases in this game are really reasonable. I didn't feel like I had functionality removed, or dramatically limited gameplay without swiping a credit card. I think this is a really nice balance of simple gameplay with complex strategy.
I noticed that once I bought my rejuvenate rune for coins that it no longer showed up for sale for real money, do you already have those 3 runes (rejuvenate, stun, toxin) and all 5 of the $80 swords?
Yes, I have all those... so I guess the non-premium runes are just random drops and there's nowhere else to check them out? EDIT: Alright, after some investigation, it seems that the mastery tiles drop in the areas for each particular element. By replaying the initial level on one of the plant areas, I was able to eventually acquire a plant mastery rune, and had the same experience with energy rune in the energy levels... unless this is a fluke, it sort of sucks for specializing since the areas are not ordered properly for those runes to be effective (cold levels come way later than plant, where cold would be useful) and you're basically stuck waterbending since it's the only one you can work up to a decent level since it drops early on... I wish they all dropped earlier so you could decide how to specialize from the beginning.
As mentioned previously, we max out at level 25. However the enemies go higher. So far the highest I've seen is level 27. Anyone seen higher?
Gold & silver chests Anyone work up the courage or cash to spend money on the gold or silver chests yet? I want to know what they consider ULTRA RARE....?
Someone replied on Facebook: "Laila Sorrel - I just bought the gold box as a way to say thanks to the game company. I got the game for free and have been enjoying it for some time. I don't normally do in-app purchases, but I made an exception in this case. In the box, I got a level 37 battle robe with 4/5 rune sockets and crit chance 13%. It's much better than what I currently have, so I'm happy with it. It's a purple flag item." So, this is what I basically expected. I think that the gold box is essentially the same as the purple 20 day flag. It gets better ask your level goes up. If they release additional content & keep me interested in the game through a few more updates, then I'll buy 1 as a way to show my gratitude for a good game & as a way to "pay" for the play time I've gotten out of this free app, but I don't really expect anything better than my current stuff.
I noticed the Water Mastery was given to me in the two areas that enemies were weak against water and now I am in the second area of Fire and it's doing the same thing. (fire mastery). I would assume then, that you can get the mastery at those places. ---- I have also noticed the swords and the rejuvenate rune is also missing from the store that you buy with real life money once acquired. So you can not have two of the same swords and can probably not get Stun twice or any of the new items. That is just a guess though.
This is helpful to know. Thanks for figuring it out, Nodnarb. I too like to pay developers for a good game. I'm not keen on the way revenue is made in games like this, so for Spellfall I simply sent BFS some money in the mail. After I sent it I thought that I could probably have just purchased a few of those gold boxes instead. But hey, why be normal?
I've nothing so large. About half that. Does anyone have info on the whirlpool and how to use it? Are the transmute runes useful? I stopped doing the recaptured territory after the first time. Knock on wood it has stopped on two territories being recaptured. I think I'm on my 9 or 10 area. I have also found the rejuvenate runes are much better than heal. I bought a stun but have yet to really use it. The toxic runes do not help much. I am getting runes at level 3. Nice when the start out high.
