What factions are you using Sheinfell? I've got a deck in place, admittedly heavy on the lost/taken under combo (WTF am I going to do when the 4 cost taken under comes to us??!), but so far it's doing remarkably well. I'm using red and purple and I'm enjoying for once getting two minions out each turn rather than one big heavy one. My deck wouldn't cope against some of your giant ones, but I'm beating the AI.
I use Nature & Swamp, quite heavy on barriers, with a nice bunch of healing. Would be much easier using L/TU, admitted. I decided to skip those on purpose Well, on the plus side I discovered some nasty new combos that I need to try in a more serious deck. Fun fact: With the first version of that deck, I managed twice to get 45+ health, and just sit it out until the AI ran out of cards. As there are now two ways to get a boatload of health, they compliment each other quite well.
Yes good games, that was my horrid deck of doom. Doesn't use any 5 stuff and just gets a lot of power from Heart of Darkness and Pyromancers, so keeps in coming at ya fast

Nope, haven't received the gold yet, left the app running all day. No prob, he'll care sooner or later, me thinks. He told me that I need to wait until next week, since he probably won't be able to get things right at the weekend. And... since when do goblins board planes, dammit? I though they're all subject to acrophobia?

Hey, today I started to build my first serious deck, and it runs really well... I found a really strong combo: Blood Orb with Blessed Unicorn and Rise Again. Unicorn attacks, then gets sacrificed to the Blood Orb and rises again in the same round. This was the last round before opponent's defeat: I was nearly unscratched. edit: Lechatcurieux hammered that deck 20 : 0. I need more barriers. And I had a damn bad draw, none of my combo cards came. I need more copies of them and have to throw the fillers out. *goes to check for his Gold*
Hi, Started playing this game a couple of days ago and am absolutely loving it - the way it's not fettered by the normal physical mechanics of having to deal with actual cards is great - things like stealing each others cards or choosing a trap from your deck at random are great. Having a minor problem though - I'm playing on e iPhone and the iPad, but the two don't seem to be syncing right. Had a look through quite a lot of this forum (I'll admit I was scanning though a it by about page 30 ) and it seems like it's supposed to sync via iCloud - it says "syncing" when you load the app too, but I seem to be playing completely seperate games on each device. The other weird thing is that I can't buy cards on the iPhone; the "confirm purchase" link doesn't do anything. (Completely unrelated aside - why is that just plain text instead of a button? Really wasn't sure what I was supposed to be pressing, had to try it on the iPad to check that really was it.) Anyway, hope that made some sense, anybody got any idea what's going on? Thanks.
Hey Gribble, glad you like the game. I am afraid iCloud has been misbehaving for us lately, but hopefully we can help. Need to check a few things with you, as diagnosing any problems on a forum is a bit of a minefield! Do you use the same Game Center account on both? Have both devices got iCloud enabled (Documents and Data)? Is their unspent gold on both devices ? (I know they should be synced so that question might seem odd, but I am trying to get all the info I can) Have both got the same iOS and the same version of Spellcraft? Not sure why confirm purchases wouldn't do anything. I know it won't let you waste gold on a 5th copy of a card , simply because there is no need. But it sound like you've got beyond that..... (Incidentally, it is actually a button, just with an invisible border - it would break the "ancient scroll" effect if we slapped on a modern looking button- purely cosmetic) Speak soon here or you can message the tech guy directly from our website. This game is soo addictive! At first it seems like it will take forever to be able to purchase new cards without resorting to IAP, but it is surprising how quickly the gold adds up and as most of the key utility cards are common, they only cost 10 gold each anyways. I cannot recommend this game enough for any fan of MTG.
I had this problem on my iPhone 5 too, the "confirm purchase" button doesn't reply and closes the booster tab, bringing you back to the area where you can choose between the different boosters. But I discovered a trick: instead of trying to hit the purchase confirmation, quicky (and that means very quick!) double-tap on the booster, no matter where, and it will unwrap the cards. Might not work at the first time, but try again then.
The confirm purchase button is hard to press, it seems to be a small area just slightly above the word confirm. A small thing to fix in an update.
Hi Imba, welcome to the forum and spellcraft! I've not played Magic so maybe someone else can comment on that. The way I see it is, it's free....so just give it a go and see if you like it! As for the most powerful creature in the game, that's kind of interesting, and the answer is....There isn't one. All the cards have different powers and skill, so you might throw down a giant flame breathing dragon, but if I have the right card in my deck, maybe even a water based card, it will put out your dragon flames so he wasn't that powerful after all. It's not a strength vs strength game, it's all about tactics and a balance between finding gaps where you can attack whilst using defensive cards to cover your ass. Add us in game centre and let's have us a battle x
Oh how lovely to have some new guys here! You are right about the cards, if you read the earlier posts we actually tell the goblins at one point that they should charge a bit more for stuff and give away less gold. By time you've played the AI enough to know what you are doing, you'll be sitting pretty on a little mountain of goblin gold. If you have any MTG friends, bring them over!!
Oh I thought your everything must die deck meant everything of YOURS must die mwahahahah. Only kidding, I got a bit lucky in our game and I could tell you were having a bad draw. Your rank is sneaking up pretty quickly and you have a talent for 'adopting' tactics. After one game I sit there having my own trick pulled on me and I'm going "OI CHEEKY!!"
Questions 1. None of you answered me about the Mortality card. Why are you all using it, I don't understand how it helps at all if you both lose life? 2. Does anyone have an opinion on my idea of being able to select your deck AFTER you get a game request from someone, so you can pick your best deck for that particular player. 3. How are people putting 'footers' on the end of their posts? Maybe we could put our GC names so we can all hook up. I've tried searching for the new posters to add them but no luck in GC. 4. Does anyone else LOVE the unwrapping noise when you buy a booster pack? (Steve please please please can I tell them as it delighted me so much lmao)
I would just try it...but... Everything I dl onto a device automagically downloads onto my PC, and, even with an extra 500 gigs, I'm running short on storage space. Sure, I can delete it from itunes after it dl's, but I often forget to. Not to mention my network starts crawling pretty quick. It seems as though every CCG is a very large file size. Dunno why,,,hi-res art assets I presume?
Wooooah iPad mini!! VERY jealous!! There's an update out really soon and the game's slimmed down to around half it's current weight. Don't let the size put you off joining us....it's a great game!! Just get rid of some other games I'm wondering why all your stuff auto DLs onto your PC...you want it that way or just haven't turned it off? It's amazing how much storage we use nowadays. When I buy a device I think I have loads then before long I'm at the store buying an external USB drive (lifesavers btw!!!). My Family's first computer when I was young had TWO MEGS STORAGE....we thought that was massive lololol. Come and play! X
