Spell Well is a universal app that works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It teaches first grade level spelling to children using wonderful high quality cheerful graphics of a frog trying to make his garden grow. The children are inspired to add more and more through spelling correctly. The app is free, but you can purchase additional words as your child progresses. It teaches a vocabulary of over 500 words. Prescribed level textbooks of the British National Curriculum are followed. Spell Well shows how many words have been spelled correctly so far, and with which word the child had the most trouble. Children will be asked to spell words again they had trouble with. At any time the child can see how the garden is growing.
